He is proud. Instead of being angry, he feels sad and powerless. Since the stroke, he tends to feel that way anyhow. He draws strength from things he accomplished when he was able. When those accomplishments are weakened, he feels weakened. He no longer has the strength to go out and fix what other people screw up. It helps him to be able to point to successful endeavors and say “I had a hand in that. I did my part in something lasting and beneficial.” It’s painful to watch it crumble before his eyes.
The thing is that if ISIS gets curb stomped, the Iranians get THEIR Shiite caphilate from Syria to Afghanistan.
on Dec. 14, 2011, when he was removing the last U.S. troops from Iraq, Obama gave a speech at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. Here he said his strategy based on building a sovereign, stable, self-reliant Iraq had succeeded.
Its harder to end a war than begin one, Obama said at Fort Bragg. Indeed, everything that American troops have done in Iraq—all the fighting and all the dying, the bleeding and the building, and the training and the partnering—all of it has led to this moment of success. Now, Iraq is not a perfect place. It has many challenges ahead. But were leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Iraq, with a representative government that was elected by its people. Were building a new partnership between our nations. And we are ending a war not with a final battle, but with a final march toward home. This is an extraordinary achievement, nearly nine years in the making.
this is unbelieveable. A single column, driving down the only highway, in broad day light. We can take them completely out with our planes or drones. Whiskey, tango, foxtrot is he waiting for?
President Obamas announcement on Friday that all American troops would leave Iraq by the end of the year was an occasion for celebration for many, but some top American military officials were dismayed by the announcement, seeing it as the president’s putting the best face on a breakdown in tortured negotiations with the Iraqis. And for the negotiators who labored all year to avoid that outcome, it represented the triumph of politics over the reality of Iraq’s fragile security’s requiring some troops to stay, a fact everyone had assumed would prevail.
Would be nice to send him personally.
AND his teleprompter too.
I’m just a guy in the neighborhood. Let’s see, we were running arms in Benghazi to help the terrorist in Syria that were fighting Assad. They crossed the border and invaded Iraq. They’re on a roll. The mainly Shiite led government in Iraq in in disarray. Iran may help them. We’re supposed to help the Al Qaeda rebels invading Iraq or side with the Iraqi government and the Iranians in repelling the Al Qaeda ISIS rebels?
It’s a hell of a mess. We once at least had a policy and some direction. Now, under Commander Obama, there is none. Looks like the worst of the worst are going to take over while genius Obama tries to think it through. It’s going to be an Islamofascist bloodbath.
Don’t underestimate the evil Marxist paradigm
That picture: 1 good strafing run, and a 2nd for good measure.
I agree. We shouldn’t make the mistake that their stupidity minimizes their danger. Their stupidity actually keeps them a step ahead of us.
Stupidity is so subjective. Marx, Engles and Lenin were brilliantly misguided (Stalin was just a greedy homicidal thug). Hitler was an evil toad and a military moron, but his understanding of human nature and his ability to manipulate his countrymen was anything but stupid.
American Marxist mentors like Saul Alinsky was so brilliant that his “A” student, zer0, got America to vote communist...TWICE!
Marxism may be a stupid idea, but there are some pretty bright purveyors of this crap out there....and I won’t underestimate them.
“Obama is an idiot.”
Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times it’s enemy action.
Trojan horse is a good term.
You know ISIS is made up of the same people that Obama wanted to help in Syria by bombing the Syrian regime. Now they are taking over Iraq, too.
Draw em in and then nuke the damn place ....... stir, repeat, stir repeat.....etc...
Do we still have blogger contacts in Iraq, like we did when the war was going on?
But, to quote someone...”What difference, at THIS point, does it make?”
When I discuss this, few are willing to make the effort to understand even when I try to explain.
There is something educational in that picture.

Just as B. Hussein planned it. 2.5 more years of this bull, you would think Democraps and RINOs would have had enough by now, but no. They’re going to wait till a nuke goes off then they’ll *really* complain and go back to their cocktail party and air kisses.
Telllllll me about it. If only there was some way we could kick this bum out and replace him with Ronny. You think RR would be going to fundraisers and playing golf? Hell freakin no.
I grieve for one of my wifes closest friends who lost her son in Iraq. For what? It was a noble cause at the time, but the usurper has thrown it all away. I am sick at what this bastard has done to the parents and loved ones of all the men and women who gave their lives for Iraqi freedom.
This is all I keep thinking of. I agreed after much study that it was right to go into Iraq. I regret thinking it and I regret we did it, if we couldn’t get the job done and keep those people from dying in vain.
One must focus on those individuals and how they died in honor and service from their hearts, minds, and bodies, in good faith, thinking there was still that banner of freedom waving. If Francis Scott Key were writing those words today, the answer to our national anthem would be in the negative.
AU72-—any number of things could totally Destroy that caravan of barbarians in a few minutes flat.AND every other easily identifiable caravan making its way towards Baghdad and every other city on its itinerary. What someone else on this thread indicated, that Obama will make the wrong moves, and make hem too late, nails it precisely.
aljazerra reporting that Iraqi army has retaken two towns from ISIS.
