The war presently is not the same. Saddam is gone. That was what the war was about.

The current war is been building since 1918 or so when the artificial nation of Iraq was established by the British. There re lots of very old scores to be settled. That effort is now underway and visible.

It is not true your son died in vain. Saddam is gone and not a threat

You’re one of few who realizes it was two wars: one to depose Saddam, another to fill the power vacuum. Mission accomplished on the first; Obama handed the second to his allies.

IMPEACH!

Cookie Cutter Toyota Tundras in White as far as the eye can see.

Whose port were these Tundras brought through?

Who bought them for ISIS?

Whose army is this?

I’ll bet: SAUDI!

I have not seen or heard from Biden in months.

Many US soldiers, and many more Iraqis, died, and Obama is throwing it all away

The only war that had a chance of success was a war of conquest to place American governors in Riyadh and Islamabad.

The Iraq war, based on false premises, was built on sand - and the architect needs to take some of the blame.

It was a noble cause at the time, but the usurper has thrown it all away

It was idiotic from its moment of conception.

The enemy is in Riyadh and Islamabad.

From the link I provided....

This was a story from February 11, 2010... it’s in the second paragraph. That’s what makes it fun... he was sooooooo wrong. Of course the MSM and New York Times will ‘miss’ this strange and totally wrong prediction.

FLASHBACK: Joe Biden Made a Bold Prediction About Iraq. How’s It Working Out?
PJ tattler ^ | June 12, 2014

Posted on 6/12/2014, 1:57:48 PM by Mount Athos

BIDEN: I am very optimistic about Iraq. I think it’s gonna be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re gonna see 90,000 troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You’re gonna see a stable Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government…I’ve been impressed by how they’ve been deciding to use the political process rather than guns to settle their differences.”

That was February 11, 2010. A couple of years later, US troops are gone but Iraq is anything but stable. Islamists are successfully taking over its major cities and are on the verge of threatening Baghdad.

I look at the current state of things and am aghast at the massive fail.

Perhaps we deserve the mess we are in. We should have done more to prevent corruption and evil from rising to power in this once great nation. I bet there were plenty of Germans in the thirties that felt like I feel right now.

God please help us, and please forgive us for being so lazy and stupid.

Commander Obama is every bit the military genius of Hitler.

Only if you assert that Obama has America's interests at heart and in mind.

If one understand that Obama is a Trojan Horse, and is an instrument of our destruction - then we might see Obama as the Islamic and the Communist world does; a genius.

Within the report, we read:

The U.S. has yet to respond to a request from Iraq made last month to mount air attacks against militant training camps in western Iraq, according to two American officials who asked not to be identified discussing internal deliberations. One of the officials said President Barack Obama is reluctant to revisit a war that he opposed and has repeatedly declared over.

This sounds like it is hardly a surprise to Obama, and his reasons for not making it a priority to respond when it might have done some good is that it would openly expose his incompetence and ignorance. Well, TOO LATE, zero!!!

Can you imagine the outrage in the media, the code pikos, cindy sheehag, etc if GWB were in office and this was taking place after 12 years. I cannot even fathom the outrage and the calls for IMPEACHMENT would be on the House floor tomorrow morning (opps the Congress doesn't work on Fridays).

When Obama debated Keyes on foreign policy in 2004, his main talking point was the glories of “soft power.”

Keyes responded with something like: “that’s like facing a bayonet with a wet spaghetti noodle.”

Well, here it is.

I’d guess that Obama actually takes some pleasure in seeing Iraq fail. To him it’s a useful object lesson in the failure of US imperialism. Letting Iraq go up in flames is a way of chastening America for following a Republican to war. In fact, I even wouldn’t be surprised if it were his way of giving the finger to the British for their interventions in the ME early last century. I really feel like Obama is out to settle old scores on a nearly cosmic scale. It’s why he’s okay with, for example, turning Egypt over to Islamists. When it comes to foreign policy, Obama is basically a vengeful anti-colonialist, anti-Anglo-American Jacobin.
