Yes it does... first thing I thought when I read the headline was that MH370 (with newly programmed numbers/new paint, etc.) would be replacing another plane in the airspace when it came back up... I guess that means that I don’t believe for one minute it’s in Indian Ocean.

A later version of the article has additional information (my comments and questions in italics):
Air traffic control in Austria described the incidents as "unprecedented".I don't think they would have said this if they thought solar flares were the cause.
Both incidents in Austria lasted 25 minutes.That's enough time for a jetliner at cruising speed to travel more than 200 miles.
The incidents affected 13 planes.Does this means 13 planes total, or 13 planes in each incident?
Similar incidents happened at air traffic control in Munich, Karlsruhe, and Prague.Were these separate incidents, or did planes disappear in Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic at the same time?
