This will affect the whole world, and sooner than later.
The situation in Iraq is probably the most important story in the world today, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at my MSNBC home page. The home page features major news headlines plus 12 groups of three photo-accompanied stories that automatically cycle. It isn’t until you get to the eight of these photo groups that you see anything about Iraq. Most of the other stuff is celebrity-related or human interest, not hard news.
There will be a lot of new M-4 rifles on the market there - never used and only dropped once.
Had I lost a son in Iraq, I would be very close to some form of anarchy right now. What would he have died for ... what DID they die for. How much more of this can we take before we begin to say “enough.”???

The Obama administration’s response to all of this is to send out one of their lackeys to say “yes, but we decimated core Al Qaeda”.....as city after city falls.
Nobody will ever believe that again. South Korea, Taiwan, NATO states in Eastern Europe - all had better be planning accordingly.

We know a Colonel that was to be promoted to General (shortly after he left our base in NM) in the Iraqi military. He lives 3 miles outside Baghdad on a family farm. He was so proud of working with the Americans and freeing his country from Hussein, I can just imagine how he feels about all this.
We haven’t heard from him since he left a flight safety training class held at our base last summer. I often wonder if he’s okay. I’m afraid this might be the end for him and his family.
Yup, even if we elect a good President who restores American strength and pride, what foreigner is going to side with us when they know that one election away, they could get another Obama? Better to play it safe and not rely on the USA for anything. He has done vast amounts of damage to this country that it would take a generation or two to restore...if we get good leadership ever again. A big if.
