McCain Calls for Obama's National Security Team to Resign Over Iraq
National Journal ^ | June 12, 2014 | Kevin Baron

Roaring onto the Senate floor as swaths of Iraq fall to insurgent control, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said the entire Obama administration national security team, including Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey, should resign for failing to keep Iraq secure.

"Could all this have been avoided? …The answer is absolutely yes," McCain said. "If I sound angry it's because I am angry."

I have to think it is happening NOW partly BECAUSE it is 0bama’s watch. The whole world knows that he will do nothing but make speeches and draw lines. He might threaten to have a beer summit or something, if he starts to get any pressure from the MSM.

I suggest that we make McCain Ambassador to Iraq, and send him over to Baghdad as soon as possible, to take charge of our embassy there.

John McCain November 2008 concession speech:

“We have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency.”

So now he blames the help instead of the man in charge.

McCain’s the dude who went to Syria to support the terrorists and insist they be given weapons and training. Can he fire himself?

McCain did so well with Libya we should listen to him.

Just don't accept any ambassadorships he may offer.

“We have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency.”

Actually, McLame said that while he was "running." Palin was ready to go after Obama but was prevented from doing so.

I didn’t want to nation build in Iraq in the first place.

But we did. We spent a huge amount of blood and a lot of treasure in getting that place almost tame, and a simple status of forces agreement with Iraq would have helped preserve some semblance of control for at least another decade. On the downside, it would have required a division equivalent for that same decade to be rotated in and out.

Permanent solutions:

1. Divide it into competing nations.
2. Let it become what it becomes, and smack it if it bothers us
3. Re-invade and get it back to where we had it under control

“On my first full day in office, I directed my national security team to undertake a comprehensive review of our strategy in Iraq to determine the best way to strengthen that foundation, while strengthening American national security.”

I have never had any doubt that Obama torpedoed those SOFA talks with Maliki(sp).

He could have bought Maliki with money if he couldn’t come up with ideas. Maliki was that easy.
