you can't guarantee that we will take control of the Senate without McConnell.

And that's the issue.

Plus a little extra padding doesn't hurt, because someone Jeffords might jump ship just to flip it back to the Democrats.

the problem is the Democrat is not only “not a friend of the country” but a deadly enemy to the country intent on it's destruction.

I agree completely with trying to unseat RINO incumbents in the primaries, but once we get to the general we HAVE to support our candidate no matter who they are, because the alternative is literally waiting in the wings with the sword ready to cut off out heads.

In a sane world supporting the Rino would make sense. This particular guy is in a leadership position and hates conservatives and what we stand for. Yes, the Dem does, too, but the Dem doesn’t use our money and trust against us. If we were talking about a run of the mill, under the radar, little power wielding Rino, then I would agree with you. McConnell sets the toe and agenda for the republicans and his agenda is wrong.

No, one can’t guarantee anything.

Some people like to be spit on, pissed on and abused.
I’m guessing A lot of KY conservatives don’t.
Maybe you do too. I don’t.

McConnell has fought for nothing as minority leader.
New leadership is required.
At this point the only way to get new leadership is to get rid of him.
Or he resigns his leadership post before the general.
I could live with that.

If he falls further behind in the KY polls, look for that to happen
as a last desperate act to save the seat.

As long as he is not our majority leader, I don’t care if he is a senator from KY. Just not majority leader.

Clearly, the Dems are trying their level best to destroy the country. But the RINOs just mildly slow down the process. They do nothing to stop or reverse it. And in doing so, they make it more palatable to people who would otherwise reject it entirely.

How many years of Obamacare can the country take before it breaks the will of millions of people? Before tens or even hundreds of thousands of euthanasia victims are just greeted with a shrug?

Remember that the Nazi death camps were not introduced overnight, that they used gradualism until the typical German on the street just *accepted* that death camps were a fact of life.

It is people like McConnell that lead the pack of those who shrug, perhaps mumbling the Chamber of Commerce inanity, “Whatever. It’s good for business.”

Slavery would be “good for business”. Socialized medicine would be “good for business”. Unrestricted immigration would be “good for business”. Even abortion and euthanasia can be called “good for business”.

if you think Mitch McConnell is anything OTHER than a deadly enemy of the country then you haven’t been paying attention

That mind-set is why The U.S.A. is in the mess we're in today. According to your logic, if we found out 2 days before the General Election that the dude who is the GOP Candidate is a child molester, we have to support him; no matter what? I doubt you would do that TexasFreeper. So, where do you draw the line? Some of us feel that a man who hates us and vows to crush us is depraved enough to say "Eff you" to on Election Day.
