Former Lesbian Reveals How to Actually Deal With Homosexuality 8:00AM EDT 6/12/2014 JANET BOYNES
Janet Boynes, a born-again Christian who has overcome homosexuality simply through the power of Christ.
The topic of homosexuality can no longer be ignored. Many churches have closed their eyes hoping it would just go away or they have inwardly convinced themselves that they shouldn't address something that is so controversial. However, our culture is forcing us to take a stand.
The gay agenda is advancing to the point that instead of being ashamed of what the Bible calls sin, they actually flaunt it. The promoters of this lifestyle are, in a sense, like those who questioned Peter when they asked, "Are you His disciple"? Are we, like Peter, going to bow before the pressure and deny what Scripture clearly teaches?
Jesus told us to keep in mind that if He was persecuted, then the world would also persecute us (John 15:20). In addition, Paul told Timothy that things would go from bad to worse and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted (2 Tim. 3:12-13). Speaking truth has that effect on the world's system. Our goal, though, should not be to escape ridicule but to declare the truth of Scripture, motivated by a heart of love.
Recently, there has been a number of public attacks on people who have stood up for traditional marriage. The CEO of Mozilla was forced to resign; Phil Robertson was temporarily removed from the Duck Dynasty program; several business owners have been taken to court for not participating in the celebration of gay marriages, including a baker, a photographer and a florist; and HGTV cancelled a new series that was hosted by twin brothers, David and Jason Benham. We may not have chosen this battle, but it has been thrust upon us!
In the midst of these public confrontations, there is a 'behind the scenes' scenario playing out. Thousands of those living the homosexual lifestyle along with thousands who are not actively involved in a relationship, but are dealing with same-sex attraction are looking for a way out! The church isn't equipped to deal with this, for the most part, and often doesn't want to deal with it.
Jesus told us to go into the highways and hedges and compel the people to come into His house (Luke 14:23). Highways and hedges are probably not the places church people hang out! The lost and the sinner are there; someone's son or daughter is there; someone is there for whom Christ shed His blood. The soul of the homosexual is precious to God. He desires all to be saved. We cannot deal casually with the eternal spirits of those for whom Christ died.
Jesus can change the life of anyone in the grip of sin. The Bible has the solution for all who struggle with homosexuality. I should know. I was in this lifestyle for 14 years and I am now victoriously free! It took a body of believers to help me, spend time with me and be an example to me.
My story has been documented in my book, Called Out, and written about in Charisma magazine. I've also given my testimony many times on television as well as in many churches across our nation.
My ministry is devoted to helping people come out of unwanted homosexuality. I believe this. I am devoted to it, but the apathy and unpreparedness of the church must change. For that reason, I am using avenues to equip the church, youth leaders and family members so they are in position to help those who are struggling.
One of these avenues is a conference we are holding on August 15-16, 2014, in Lake Mary, Florida. We are partnering with Charisma Media and we're reaching out not only to people from Central Florida, but around the nation. You can go to my website for more information. At this conference you can hear people talk about how they came out of homosexuality as well as helpful information on how to minister to people who are hurting in this area while raising a standard against the tide which is the gay agenda.
My Mom is 85 yoa. She refers to lesbians as the ‘tongue and groove ‘ crowd, after the term refering to flooring lumber.
I may never look at my wood flooring the same way again....
Has anybody noticed that the more the US, as a nation, gives in to the gay mafia, homosexual marriage and so-callled gay rights, the more we decline in the superpower that was once ours alone?
Has anybody noticed that the more the US, as a nation, gives in to the pro-abortion crowd, killing thousands of innocent babies every day, the more we decline in the superpower that was once ours alone?
Has anybody noticed that the more the US, as a nation, gives in to the legalization of illegal drugs, and even promoting their use, the more we decline in the superpower that was once ours alone?
Has anybody noticed that the more the US, as a nation, removes all references to God from public buildings and places, the more we decline in the superpower that was once ours alone?
Has anybody noticed that the more the US, as a nation, gives in to so-called ‘victimless crimes’ like prostitution and pornography, the more we decline in the superpower that was once ours alone?
Has anybody noticed?.....................anybody?
God will not be mocked........................
Then Ishould not tell you what she calls male homo sexuals.
I don’t think the “tongue in groove crowd” desires to get any wood.
I thought they preferred rugs, but I guess times have changed
When you’re 85 y/o, you can day whatever you damn well please.
That is a very correct assumption.
Janet Boynes; Hmmm Ironic name, hey?
now that You mentioned it,,,
Oh for sure, but the thing is that homosexuality and drug use are tearing of fabrics that were fraying some time before. We could not have gotten to the point of where homosexuality is as accepted and pushed as it is, if heterosexuals treated marriage as a sacrement.
I’m not saying that to judge anybody here, but just that things do not suddenly become acceptable over night, there are a bunch of mini-steps to that point that were previously considered unacceptable that became acceptable prior.
Janet Boynes; Hmmm Ironic name, hey?
Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them."
Why, yes, I have noticed!
And, along the way fought against every single one of the issues you enumerate.
I am told (having never been one), that before and alcoholic can recover, he/she must get to “rock bottom,” and admit to him/herself that there is a problem. An “awakening,” if you will.
Well, my guess is that we as a nation will have to do likewise. The phrase “Houston, we have a problem,” has taken on a grave new meaning.
We are, IMHO, poised for a fifth “Great Awakening,” if you will.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Awakening:
“Great Awakening[s] [in American History]
First (c. 17311755)
Second (c. 17901840)
Third (c. 18501900)
Fourth (c. 19601980)
“The term Great Awakening is used to refer to several periods of religious revival in American religious history. Historians and theologians identify three or four waves of increased religious enthusiasm occurring between the early 18th century and the late 19th century. Each of these “Great Awakenings” was characterized by widespread revivals led by evangelical Protestant ministers, a sharp increase of interest in religion, a profound sense of conviction and redemption on the part of those affected, an increase in evangelical church membership, and the formation of new religious movements and denominations.”
It is my feverant hope that the Ophonybama Regime’s ineptitude and deliberate acts of sabotage which have caused our fall FRom the pinnacle of world leadership will cause We The People to react positively to the challenges ahead of us.
It’s all those “Bella Wood” commercials..
Before homosexuality was bad they had made heterosexual marriage bad.
The so called urgency of marriage at a young age to have children as been replaced by the outright brutal urgency of rape. The pill has not made nuns out of women nor caring monks out of men.
This savagery is all interlinked. Abstinance from drugs and sex should be the way. But now with weeds, the weed whackers are attacking clean people.
Curses for Disobedience
This was originally to the Children of Israel when they received the Ten Commandments.
But it is a template for all that forsake God and His ways, no matter what nation they are.
Now, as you read thru it, how many of these ‘curses’ apply to us today.
Deuteronomy 28 (New International Version)
15 However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you:
16 You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.
17 Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.
18 The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
19 You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.
20 The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him.[a] 21 The Lord will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess. 22 The Lord will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish. 23 The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron. 24 The Lord will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are destroyed.
25 The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth. 26 Your carcasses will be food for all the birds and the wild animals, and there will be no one to frighten them away. 27 The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, festering sores and the itch, from which you cannot be cured. 28 The Lord will afflict you with madness, blindness and confusion of mind. 29 At midday you will grope about like a blind person in the dark. You will be unsuccessful in everything you do; day after day you will be oppressed and robbed, with no one to rescue you.
30 You will be pledged to be married to a woman, but another will take her and rape her. You will build a house, but you will not live in it. You will plant a vineyard, but you will not even begin to enjoy its fruit. 31 Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will eat none of it. Your donkey will be forcibly taken from you and will not be returned. Your sheep will be given to your enemies, and no one will rescue them. 32 Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, and you will wear out your eyes watching for them day after day, powerless to lift a hand. 33 A people that you do not know will eat what your land and labor produce, and you will have nothing but cruel oppression all your days. 34 The sights you see will drive you mad. 35 The Lord will afflict your knees and legs with painful boils that cannot be cured, spreading from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.
36 The Lord will drive you and the king you set over you to a nation unknown to you or your ancestors. There you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone. 37 You will become a thing of horror, a byword and an object of ridicule among all the peoples where the Lord will drive you.
38 You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little, because locusts will devour it. 39 You will plant vineyards and cultivate them but you will not drink the wine or gather the grapes, because worms will eat them. 40 You will have olive trees throughout your country but you will not use the oil, because the olives will drop off. 41 You will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them, because they will go into captivity. 42 Swarms of locusts will take over all your trees and the crops of your land.
43 The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower. 44 They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, but you will be the tail.
45 All these curses will come on you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the Lord your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you. 46 They will be a sign and a wonder to you and your descendants forever. 47 Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, 48 therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.
49 The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand, 50 a fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young. 51 They will devour the young of your livestock and the crops of your land until you are destroyed. They will leave you no grain, new wine or olive oil, nor any calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks until you are ruined. 52 They will lay siege to all the cities throughout your land until the high fortified walls in which you trust fall down. They will besiege all the cities throughout the land the Lord your God is giving you.
53 Because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you. 54 Even the most gentle and sensitive man among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children, 55 and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating. It will be all he has left because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege of all your cities. 56 The most gentle and sensitive woman among youso sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her footwill begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter 57 the afterbirth from her womb and the children she bears. For in her dire need she intends to eat them secretly because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege of your cities.
58 If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome namethe Lord your God 59 the Lord will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses. 60 He will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt that you dreaded, and they will cling to you. 61 The Lord will also bring on you every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed. 62 You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left but few in number, because you did not obey the Lord your God. 63 Just as it pleased the Lord to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please him to ruin and destroy you. You will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.
64 Then the Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other godsgods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known. 65 Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart. 66 You will live in constant suspense, filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life. 67 In the morning you will say, If only it were evening! and in the evening, If only it were morning!because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see. 68 The Lord will send you back in ships to Egypt on a journey I said you should never make again. There you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.
