When asked by a local television reporter to respond to his bizarre comments about unsavory acts he said he committed with animals as a child, Cochran said he doesn’t remember.
“I think maybe I was misunderstood,” Cochran said. “I don’t remember ever saying [that].”

The only other theory that is remotely possible is that Cochran is tired, or having a twinge of conscience and is deliberately trying to throw the runoff to McDaniel.
Shameful. He needs to retire today.
And this is very sad. He is old and is being exploited by others. He was a good servant of the state of a Mississippi for many years. It is time for someone else to serve Mississippi and the nation.
He just told a reporter he did not know Cantor lost... Days after the fact. How can you NOT know that? The guy is senile and needs to retire. McCain too, we need a term limit and age limit amendment to the Constitution.

Is this on tape? It was so off the wall, it sounded like the old Lyndon Johnson playbook, “I just want to make him deny it.”
For all we know he meant that he and the other kids tormented or killed the animals. The word “indecent” has typically held a wider connotation in tradition Southern vernacular. Nonetheless, whatever he did or didn’t do, the man is bat-sh*t crazy and needs to be put in a rocking chair in front of a TV somewhere warm and cozy, not serving in the United States Senate.
Maybe he’s the one who should be in the nursing home, and not his wife.
He failed to remember Brat’s win over Cantor, now he fails to remember indecent comments. This joker is in the same class as war hero McCain. He should check himself in.
