That’s very sad.
Deciding in 2001 not to win the war is a lot sadder.
Before lowering the casket, the flag was folded and presented to my mother. She gave it to me in her elderly years, She’s 84 now. I still have the flag and the memory of the soldiers folding it. These memories are permanent.
When one sees a father, a mother, a loved one, a son or daughter buried after having given their life for their country, it is impossible to understand how other Americans especially liberals could be so anti-American and anti-military. How could anyone dishonor someone who has paid with their life for our freedom? I will never understand it.
