The shock waves from the defeat of the second highest-ranking Republican in the House of Representatives in a primary election will be felt far beyond the US political epicentre in Washington. (SNIP)This all comes a week before Minister for Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore lands in Washington to lead the latest Government lobbying efforts on behalf of the so-called undocumented Irish. He is scheduled to meet Republican congressman Mick Mulvaney and Mark Amodei, who have strong Tea Party leanings, and Mario Díaz-Balart, who has tried for years to push his party into taking on the immigration issue.
If there is any solace in Cantors loss for Irish immigration lobbyists, it is that Republican chief whip Kevin McCarthy is the favourite to replace Cantor as majority leader.

If “amnesty” (surrender to the invaders) is so damn great for America, why do the buffoons in the communist DemocRAT Party insist that either the Republicans or their lame duck “president” pass it? The communists need to put their votes where their big mouth is and show the American people who REALLY matters most to the DemocRAT Party.

I don’t care if they are Irish or Congolese.
If they are “undocumented” they are illegal and should be shipped home proto. And we should cut legal immigration to a trickle for at least 5 years until we can remove all illegals, repeal the 1965 immigration law, and get a sane immigration policy in place.
