Members of Congress had asked IRS officials more than two years ago about puzzling delays in applications from conservative groups.

Yet, according to the Obama administration, only yesterday did the IRS get around to confirming that a supposed computer crash had wiped out two years of e-mail history from Lois Lerner and her group, after months of being under subpoena to supply it.

Needless to say, members of Congress aren’t buying this latest dog-ate-my-homework excuse:

BS. The EXEMPT Congress is COMPLICIT.

EXEMPT Issa did nothing.
EXEMPT Cummings PARTICIPATED in the coverup.
NOTHING by the stinking, drunk, hated EXEMPT.

NOTHING as American freedom and justice was murdered.

Need to drag all of this administration in. Subpoena all of those asses that are involved. My guess is this will not take place. If it does, I will be surprised.

The time was long ago.

Like many parts of the permanent government bureaucracy, the IRS feels it is untouchable.

As the chinese say, it is time to kill some chickens to scare the monkeys.

Anyone who is buying off on this “computer crash” BS is a total moron. It does appear as though a serious crime has been committed here. I remember a time when America was “a nation of laws”. Laws don’t mean jack these days. We’re a lawless country now like most other third world nations.

The vendors should be called in to testify on behalf of the infrastructure installed and supported under contract.

Simply to advance this ridiculous claim should be a FELONY, all by itself.

The arch-provacateurs a strike again. The aren’t even trying to come up persuasive lies anymore. They deal with the opposition and the American people from a posture of ‘ FU.’

It is a felony. It is perjury. Either they think we are stupid enough to buy that lie, or they are stupid enough to THINK we would buy that lie.

A computer crash huh?

Well, given that all data is at various cloud centers through-out the nation it shouldn’t be to hard to retrieve it. Start by jailing all members of this cover-up until the data is located.

Release them upon acquittal at trial.

Damn...what’s it gonna take. Our representatives have totally abandoned us.

Agreed. What about backup files? Off-site redundant storage of backups?

Government entities are redundant on and off site. Camp Williams UT has been running a few years, what say them?

The Congress needs an investigatory arm, just as strong, just as well-armed, as the FBI.

Yeah, remember when liberals went apefeces over 18 minutes lost?

How do liberals feel about 18 months of "lost" emails?

Get some IT guys on the case and they'll find them in a couple of hours.

It's not 1973 anymore.
