Because the mean ole tea party [they actually did not support Bratt] force out the most conservative member [amazing how 'conservative' is such a good term when applied to the centrists/moderates] of the GOP leadership. It was so bad that even the Dems and MSM are in tears. [/s]

When the loser is the established order.

The existing plans going forward must be revised to accommodate the reality and possibility that conservatives must have a stronger say in House actions.

That is, chickens counted before hatching must be considered as uncountable
