Hollywood star George Clooney is reportedly set to follow in the footsteps of fellow actors Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger by running to be governor of California.

Well, Gavin Newsom, currently lieutenant governor, will probably run for governor in 2018.
Clooney can bring his liberalism to the ballot, but, there are other Calif. politicos who will be running too.

I don’t think Clooney could even get the Democratic nomination for governor. Almost half the population of the state is Latino and since liberals are all about racial identity in picking their candidates I don’t think a rich white man is what they’re looking for.

Sadly, the Dims could run a goat for Gov here and it would win. Why not? Look at what they elected and re elected for president. I think we are rapidly approaching the point where we need to make POTUS a ceremonial office. California governor too.
