WASHINGTON – President Obama said on Friday he is weighing options for countering the violent Islamic insurgency in Iraq, but he warned government leaders in Baghdad the U.S. will not take military action unless they move to address deep political troubles.

“We’re not going to allow ourselves to be dragged back into a situation in which, while we’re there we’re keeping a lid on things, and after enormous sacrifices by us, after we’re not there, people start acting in ways that are not conducive to the long-term stability and prosperity of the country,” Obama said from the South Lawn of the White House.

Thanks but I can’t take credit for the comment.

Someone else on another site pointed it out and I was simply passing along their observation.

From the comments coming from the Obama WH, dems, and assorted leftist and Clintonites, I have no doubt this was coordinated so the dems could make the claim “we were right about Iraq al along”.

Watch how everyone on the left starts using the exact same talking points.

The left uses focus groups to come up with their talking points and it takes weeks not days to do it.

Obama can’t speak off the cuff without stuttering and stammering umms and uhhs and aaands.

His “speak” is too polished to be off the cuff, it’s practiced.

Also the fact he went on vacation just as all hell breaks loose.

No concern, no urgency.

If he wasn’t expecting it he wouldn’t have taken off.

He did the exact same thing with Benghazi.

No concern, no sense of urgency, because he was expecting it.
