Let Them Kill Each Other
American Thinker ^ | 6/16/2014 | Mike Konrad

I know, I know, the recent ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Levant) gains have everyone scared. No doubt, the Islamophilic administration will want to step in, and save Islam from itself once again. Let me advocate a course of action that will make sense to all sides in America; the left and right; from militarists to pacifists: Let the Muslims kill each other.

After the administration blundered on Benghazi, on the Arab Spring, and Syria, Heaven itself has afforded it one last chance to set itself right. It is almost impossible for the administration to screw it up. All it has to do is nothing.

Yes, Nothing!

ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Levant) is presently a large group of thugs with guns. They have no navy, no air force, except for a few captured helicopters, which they will soon break. The only ones they can threaten are their fellow Muslims. If they take over Iraq, who cares? They will soon reduce the Levant to the seventh century.

And this is a problem to us? OK, oil prices may spike for a while, but they are going to need to sell their oil because they’ve got nothing else to produce for export and can’t produce any of the fruits of modern industry. Meanwhile, the high prices will encourage domestic drilling and production of our nearly boundless reserves held in shale deposits, to the point where we will become a major oil exporter ourselves.

IBTZ?

Uh, no. I'll be celebrating my 14th anniversary on FR later this year.

US recognition of Israel was not a mistake.

By sympathizing with Arab national socialists?

I’ve seen others go too for expressing such sentiments.

It may have been well-intentioned, but it was delusional. Fee’s assessment is a good one.

“Let Israel deal with them” = abandon Israel to being surrounded by them.

No. Israel has been surrounded by enemies it's entire life. What it is now is removing any shackles that might prevent Israel from doing whatever it believes it should do to defend itself.

Yeah, the muslims will kill each other, but nothing about those non-muslims who will become victims of those ISIS demons.

By sympathizing with Arab national socialists?

No, by sympathizing with Americans and standing up for American principles when they are threatened by big-government globalists.

By all means, leave Israel surrounded by enemies.

And if we were to send troops in, send B-2s on bombing runs, or any other action…Israel will still be surrounded by enemies.

The only way for Israel not to be surrounded by enemies is if Islam is eradicated from the face of the planet. And, even then, Israel would have its share of enemies (though the ones that remain would likely not be as homicidal).

Do you think that Americans have the stomach to do what needs to be done? How about our European allies? Will they have the stomach to go to the millions of Muslims that they've allowed in their midst and demand that they repudiate their beliefs or be gunned down? Far more likely that modern European states demand that Christians apostatize or die.

Over the past 4,000 years, Israel has been surrounded by enemies. God has always protected Israel…as long as Israel didn't do a nose-dive into sin, and even then He always managed to rescue them after they've learned their lesson and returned to Him. Sure, we could act to shield Israel, but as long as this government plays with that garbage "religion of peace" BS and try to save these savages from themselves while allowing them to continue to utter their blasphemies, nothing is going to change.

The only way that the problem can be solved is for God to get "Old Testament" on the enemies of Israel.

There has never been a cohesive Caliphate even close to being formed for the majority of the modern state of Israel’s history.

It’s closer than ever now.

And they still regard the USA as the “great Satan”. No action or inaction on the USA’s part will change that viewpoint for them.

If “we” don’t get the stomach, then what non-stomachs “we” possess will be ripped out by the enemy instead.

I certainly do not trust Obama to even be forced into doing the right thing, that said. Denial of his being in league with the enemy in question is impossible in the face of the evidence.

A lot of anti-Semitism floating to the surface on this thread.

Our first priority should be what we're going to do about Obama. Those screaming for him to "do something" don't seem very bright. Everything he's done so far has made things considerably worse and having him do more of it just means the end of Israel sooner rather than later.

Lest we forget. All of Obama's doing something leads us closer to the goal at a sprint rather than a trot.

I favored intervention until I read this article.

Now, I agree, let them kill themselves.

Obama is so incompetent he is more likely to make things worse - see all of North Africa for reference.

Too, as Europe is dependent on ME oil, perhaps they will remove their head from their butts & see muslims for what they really are - psychopaths.

That's how I'm describing Israel's supporters in the U.S. government over the years who think it's important to support a foreign country at the expense of U.S. taxpayers ... for 65 years.

Your point sounds contradictory, it is a great upheaval within Islam to see who will run the Caliphate, that is why Iran is running quickly to get the bomb.

It’s not that great of an upheaval. As soon as one side gets the upper hand, things will quiet down and refocus on who they regard as the “enemies of Islam”.

We should have nuked several of those cities in the days immediately after 9-11. They’d still be trying to figure out how to get the electricity back on.... and how to live in a radioactive wasteland.
