Rotton to the core. Apparently , the management of the VA will stop at nothing to protect their paychecks, bonuses and retirement perks. Now...taking care of Veterans or killing them by neglect...that’s another story.

Days later, a top administrator came to Dr. Brecht’s clinic, put her on administrative leave, and had security officers walk her out of the building.

And thus this "top administrator" needs to go to jail.

Having been in the VA system since 1988, I don’t believe anything a doctor nor a staff member ever says at the VA. Its a corrupt system through and through. While some do get help they sorely need others fall through the cracks and worst get permanent homes 6 feet under. I have always been for privatized health care and will always be. Its ironic a VA doctor can tell you that you are unemployable, but they can’t tell you that you are employable.

I have seen horrors that would curl most people’s toes and I have experienced some first hand. I hate the VA but I have to rely on the VA for treatment for that I hate every single bit of it it right down to its unionized members.
