Verne Troyer AKA "Mini Me" from the Austin Powers movies tweeted a photo Sunday that shows him being searched by a TSA agent.

Why does he need a motor scooter?
TSA has received confidential information he is connected to someone named “Dr. Evil.”
Short legs + long walks, I'd guess.
He’s crippled bro
I love the look on his face!
Got no reason to search.
The last time we flew, the TSA found in necessary to have my wife who is a stroke survivor, get out of her wheelchair, take off her leg brace and shoes and have her wobble through the x-ray. I decided right then and there I would never have us fly again. Used to be the airport/flying experience, one was treated like a valued customer. Now we are cattle. Screw ‘em.
Looks like they’re checking his diaper!
Like many people who suffer from dwarfism, he has serious problems with his skeletal and muscular systems. He has a great deal of difficulty walking, particularly over long distances like a airport concourse.
Remember the movie Austin Powers? Mini-Me had a big weapon, he could lean like a tripod. That's gonna draw attention.
I’m sure it was a short search.
Its OK it was a short search.
BTW they are making another Austin Powers movie. Yeeeeah baby! Yeah!
Do the airports in muslim controlled countries have this TSA style BS?
He should have worn a towel on his head so that he could just walk on though.
How disgusting to humiliate someone like that. Sometimes I think the TSA likes to do this stuff just because they can. Nothing to do with safety.
We have traded our liberty for “safety”. I’d rather have my liberty.
Are you kidding??? After Goldmember? That film was absolutely horrible!
He should have produced a number 2 for the TSA guy to find.
Yeah, security theater. Or maybe, non-security entertainment. What a joke.
You would think they would be smarter than that in Tennessee
Did he have a frickin’ laser beam attached to his head?
Appalling. Meanwhile, Achmed gets waved on by...
It happened to me. Last time I flew through Minneapolis St. Paul airport with my 4 year old daughter, the gal in front of me was in full Hijab with 4 teenage boys and was waved through. My daughter and myself got the full scan and pat down. Oh and the TSA agent was a female wearing her TSA uniform and had her face covered by an Islamic head scarf. No lie.
I lost $600 in credit because I decided never to fly again. I had a year to use it and never even considered it. It was non transferrable.
Gold member was disappointing. AP should stop there.
Yeah, right. Mr G had a drivers license without a picture because it is offered here in Tennessee. It didn't matter, as he also has a carry permit with photo and a county ID with photo. When we got to the TSA in Nashville, the woman loudly pronounced that the carry permit was NOT id, and the county ID wasn't acceptable.
The fact that he had to have a thorough background check for the carry permit, and the fact that it has the same number as the drivers license was irrelevant. He pretty near got a cavity search.
All the other flights we took on that trip (another 4) had no problem with the carry permit as ID.
Welcome to the club. I quit flying in 2002. Used to fly 4-5 times a year. Not saying I will NEVER fly again but right now, its been 12 years and counting.
Only 'sometimes'? It's all theater. If they wanted to do something to make air travel safe, all flight crews would be armed. If they really wanted to make flying safe, passengers would be armed as well.
What they are doing has everything to do with controil and conditioning, and nothing at all to do with safety.
That Ain’t Right!!
no. they have metal detectors, but no one cares when they go off.
I’ve watch people get onto planes in Riyadh without having their ids checked (they were walked behind the counter and onto the plane directly)
He doesn’t look happy.
How about the Love guru? Probably the worst movie ever made in the history of motion pictures. I was unfortunate enough to witness it and after it was over my girlfriend said the military should stop waterboarding. Why? Because watching the Love guru is a more effective method of torture.
I’m telling you he’s dangerous. *eyes rolling*
There is an interesting documentary titled "The Science of Evil". It documented how when someone gets unchecked or encouraged power over others, they become cruel and insensitive. The documentary explained the Nazi atrocities to a tee, and I see it now in the current administration and law enforcement at all levels. We are past the time to push back...
Love Guru came in 3rd place in a worst film list! The film was on television about a year ago. Could only make it through about 5 minutes.
Isn’t it amazing how they can make movies that bad? How does that happen? Somebody has to give the green light before they spend the tens of MILLIONS of dollars to make these movies, so do they read the script and say to themselves “Hey this Love guru is the funniest script I’ve ever read in my life! Yes, go ahead make it make it! Here is your $50 million dollar budget!” I can’t possibly see how that happens because the script HAD to be absolute crap, so what is it? Are there THAT many drug addicts in Hollywood? Movie execs so stoned they can’t understand what they are reading? It’s not like they want to lose $50 million, I mean it tend to put an execs job on the line, yeah the green light these pieces of crap. Amazing.
TSA themselves call it ‘security porn’.
Just a giant kabuki dance.
G what’s the deal on the driver license without a photo?
I gave up on flying even before 9-11. As bad as 9-11 was, the real tragedy is that Americans have meekly accepted their loss of freedoms at The only other option was to stay until a cultural change happened among the Iraqis, but that could have been decades. the hand of the Feds and their petty henchmen. There is little difference between the TSA and Nazis, except the TSA hasn’t been allowed to murder people - yet. Damn, I feel old.
Oh, I didn’t know that.
Just something they offer senior citizens. I don’t know why.
