Verne Troyer AKA "Mini Me" from the Austin Powers movies tweeted a photo Sunday that shows him being searched by a TSA agent.

The last time we flew, the TSA found in necessary to have my wife who is a stroke survivor, get out of her wheelchair, take off her leg brace and shoes and have her wobble through the x-ray. I decided right then and there I would never have us fly again. Used to be the airport/flying experience, one was treated like a valued customer. Now we are cattle. Screw ‘em.

Like many people who suffer from dwarfism, he has serious problems with his skeletal and muscular systems. He has a great deal of difficulty walking, particularly over long distances like a airport concourse.

My Dad lived with me for the last 7 years of his life due largely to gradually failing health.Several times during that period we took plane trips...including three or four trips after 9/11.The TSA would invariably wave the wand over that wheelchair bound mid-to-late 80’s white haired man and searched him up and down.They'd even insist that he stand up...which was quite difficult for him.If only his skin was darker and spoke a Middle Eastern language he would have breezed through every time.

How disgusting to humiliate someone like that. Sometimes I think the TSA likes to do this stuff just because they can. Nothing to do with safety.
We have traded our liberty for “safety”. I’d rather have my liberty.
