This isn’t even a “discussable” topic with a Kardashian’ed populace limited by an 11 second attention span.

These “studies” generally put “free care” as the first, second, and third qualifier on what is meant by quality care.

Here's another true story:

I live in the metro-Detroit area and my brother-in-law is an Oncologist. Back in the mid 90's when my parents were still alive, their closest friends lived in Windsor. Eileen was about 78 years old and her Windsor eye doctor discovered a tumor behind her eye. Unfortunately, she was going to have to wait 6 months before she could get into a hospital to have the tumor removed.

Eileen then contacted my brother-in-law who had her come in to see him and he was then able to arrange the appropriate surgery for her for the following Monday morning.

While the tumor turned out to be benign, it would have continued to grow, causing her to lose the eye long before she could ever get into the hospital........

What kind of access? If you need emergency care, any ER is required to give you initial, lifesaving treatment. Do they mean generic access? of course we are lower, doctors don’t spend 100s of thousands of dollars to give away their care for free. We know they aren’t talking about specialized access, cause the US is one of the best in the world if you need something special, like an MRI or have some rare disease.

True. . .and no one is turned away for emergency care, private hospital or not.

Imagine the lawsuits if some private hospital turned away someone from their ER and then that person died. . .oboy. . .

“Seriously, look at what the LA Times reported: that health care in the UK is number one! Yeah, in a pig’s eye it is. It’s health care is barely third world, and parts are fourth world.”

Absolutely true, while in the UK my wife suffered an emergency and REALLY suffered from their delayed, dirty, non-English speaking staff.

Indeed.

When I went to visit my back doc about some pain I was having, he called the private hospital close by and I was seen 3-hrs later.

I'm willing to bet that none of the other 10 countries are as diverse and welcoming to illegal aliens as we are.

Switzerland, France and Sweden are being taken over by the muslim immigration due to their open borders policy. Hoewever bad you may think the U.S. is, theirs is abominable...........

With that being said, they should be posterboys for what is in store for our country......

As a side note, most of the anti-immigration arguments are directed towards the Mexicans who are flooding our southern borders when the reality is that there are equal numbers of muslims, Russians and other eastern block countries who are invading this country.

To give you an example, I play softball with a bunch of seniors in Warren Michigan. This past week there was an annual festival at the park which hosted a typical carnival with the typical rides and ponies.

Yesterday, after we had finished playing, we were socializing at our picnic table when a group of muslims came in to the park. The real muslims who require their women to be fully concealed with their hibabs or whatever the hell they are.

We sat and watched as one family went over to the pony ride and put their daughters on the ponies and watched as the father, complete with his turban, his beard and long night gown and sandals took pictures of his daughters as they were riding.

Why was that noteworthy? Because the daughters were fully gowned and veiled and their faces completely hidden...........WTF?

...healthcare ranks last...helped along mightily by epidemics of obesity due to our fat-laoded diets, inactivity, and illegitimate births.....
