MICHELLE OBAMA: I COULDN'T FEED MY KIDS RIGHT–EVEN WITH A HARVARD DEGREE
Breitbart Big Government ^ | 16 Jun 2014 | by CHARLIE SPIERING

Posted on 06/17/2014 1:57:36 AM PDT by kingattax

In an interview with MSN.com, First Lady Michelle Obama explained she used to struggle to feed her kids right—even though she received an education from Harvard and Princeton.

“Before coming to the White House, I struggled, as a working parent with a traveling, busy husband, to figure out how to feed my kids healthy, and I didn’t get it right,” she explained, sharing a story about her children’s doctor who pulled her aside to talk about her family diet.

“I thought to myself, if a Princeton and Harvard-educated professional woman doesn’t know how to adequately feed her kids, then what are other parents going through who don’t have access to the information I have?” she recalled.

Her personal struggle helped her launch her mission to address childhood obesity, she explains, especially passing a law requiring schools to provide healthier meals for kids.

The First Lady recommended that schools make decisions for children because their parents struggle to feed their children well.

Ask Grandma. Humans have been doing that for hundreds of generations.

Educated idiots get a bad name from people like that.

Affirmative action Harvard degrees don't carry the prestige they once did, Mooch.

Ever notice how leftists overuse the word "struggle?"

Reading packaging labels are a "struggle;" therefore we need chunky leftists (who don't understand nutrition) from fed.gov mandating what our kids eat.

10/15/08?

That would have been during the 2008 campaign, so she would have been spending those donations from the little folk, US-residing or not.

According to the Wikipedia, Zero spent $760m getting elected, or $10.94 per vote. So, Moochelle burned about 41 votes' worth on that lunch, LOL!

She doesn’t comprehend how arrogant she is when she manifests her reasoning. In her mind, when she finally learned something, she now feels she must mandate her epiphany on the rest of humanity.

It’s incredibly obvious she doesn’t think education occurs except in academics. What an incredibly small thinker.

“I thought to myself, if a Princeton and Harvard-educated professional woman doesn’t know how to adequately feed her kids, then what are other parents going through who don’t have access to the information I have?”

Perhaps she would consider Harvard and Princeton were not founded to educate dietary nutrition, but rather were founded to educate the soul by devotion of academic studies of the Bible. Both have drifted far away from their original founder's intentions. Maybe she should us the same argument to reading the Bible. If a Princeton and Harvard-educated professional woman doesn’t know what is in the Word of God, then what are other parents going through who don’t have access to the information I have?” Instead of mandating it, maybe she could simply make the information available to them.

The whole point of dropping that tidbit into the connversation was to convey that she’s supposed to be intelligent by stating that she had an an Ivy League education.

With narcissists you can always guarantee that they’re going to make the conversation about how superior they are to everyone else. Hey Mooch take away the money and Affirmative Action and I bet you would have been making a 3.0 avg at some community college.

Women have been feeding their kids correctly without a college degree (and none of your courses likely covered nutrition anyway) for thousands of years. It just involves BEING HOME and COOKING -- topics which you may be unfamiliar with.

Yep—did you by chance read her senior thesis for Princeton? If she was that limited in her command of the English language after 16 years of schooling, you know she couldn’t write an acceptable paper at law school either. She needed affirmative action right through her last class of grad school and was undoubtedly useless in her short time working at a law firm.

Bull CRAP! Bull CRAP! I have a family of 6 of us and we all have been to the Doctor NUMEROUS times and family diet has NEVER EVER come up and we use the dreaded “government insurance with “government doctors” with military doctors and tricare mix with me using VA..........so you KNOW if that were true, they would be all over our family with family diet crap and I NEVER have been talked to about this.
