The embattled Phoenix branch of the Department of Veterans Affairs apparently has paid out $10 million in bonuses during the past three years, far more than previously reported.
The Arizona Republic obtained and published the bonus records after seeking them from the VA for months. The documents showed 4,188 bonuses were paid in that period to more than 2,150 employees.

I oppose all bonuses! Well, maybe a small Christmas bonus.
Give them their money in their paychecks each pay period. As we have seen, bonuses are not incentives to do a better job. Many who get bonuses deserve to be FIRED not receive a bonus.
It’s a way to reward patronage or otherwise disguise income.
We see people getting bonuses for something they had nothing to do with. CEOs of failing companies getting HUGH bonuses.
Enough already, send the bonus practice to the scrapheap of history. Send tipping there at the same time.

Hurricane Katrina destroyed the building, and darn near
every paper file on every employee!
Take the money back. Garnish their wages until it is all paid back. Pu it in a veterans pool that canbe used for things like all terrain wheelchairs.
Murder Veterans through neglect and get blood bonuses. Anyone getting a “bonus” should be fired and imprisoned. Soulless ghouls!
