Buzzfeed D.C. Bureau Chief John R. Stanton posted a death wish on Twitter Tuesday morning for Ambassador John Bolton, reporter Judith Miller and former Bush 43 Pentagon official Paul Wolfowitz.

Not just any death, a fiery death by conflagration.

“Paul Wolfowitz, Judith Miller and John Bolton should start a 3 Doors Down cover band. and then die in a Great White style fire”

Maybe the FBI should be notified of Stanton’s deadly feelings about former high ranking government officials and a fellow reporter?

He’s a liberal that wished death upon conservatives. That is acceptable speech.

And tell me again who the hate-filled people are in this country. Liberals are such hypocrites, you can be sure if they are accusing others of something negative, it is they who are doing it SCUM.

Do you realize how many thieves there must be in government and the media for a guy to write something like this because he’s afraid he’ll lose his place at the trough?

I think the best response to this would be to act like the scoundrel had personally challenged Bolton to a duel.

Imagine his surprise when he gets a message that his murderous threat has been noted, and to demand a time and a place where he intends to fight to the death, with selection of weapons to the challenged, of course.

I am certain that John Bolton could craft such a reply in a way that was both legal, and would scare the hell out of the dirtbag.

I often think the same thing in regard to Harry Reid. Imagine if Romney or the Koch brothers or even old Bundy down in Nevada had responded by saying:

"There was a day in this country when such cowardly, craven speech and behavior was addressed, and settled by, a gentleman's duel.

"Now Harry Reid is no gentleman. Indeed he is barely half a man at all. But such a thing as honor still exists in America, and I will be happy to meet him at the location and under the circumstances of his choice, should he ever wish---however briefly---to acquire some."

Icing on the cake: send the message as a telegram.

"I think Bolton is a neocon"

Correct, but Paul Wolfowitz is a very, very high caliber neocon, and created the Wolfowitz Doctrine, aka the NeoCon Doctrine, aka the Bush Doctrine.

So Stanton wrote this because the NeoCons, including Wolfowitz, are in a full court press trying to make the case for re-invading Iraq. Miller is included because of WMD stories from 2003 and is now shilling for the NeoCons on Fox News.

Sadly, sending a telegram has become difficult, as it is little done anymore.

And you know....though I think many of us here are true paleocons...there really is nothing easy about Iraq.

Nor is it easy to determine precisely what is in the US interest in Iraq.

I think, though, that if Bush had not invaded, we would have reached this point sooner, rather than later. The caliphate is coming to town, and that is not b/c Bush invaded...it is only coming later rather than sooner b/c Bush invaded.

On the other hand: had Bush not invaded, domestic politics would not have been set up in such a way that obama would have been elected. And every indication is that obama is aiding the dark forces of Islam, just as he did in Egypt.

Obviously, that political genius Karl Rove did not realize that the domestic crisis that he precipitated by not defending the invasion led not to just undoing the work of the invasion ultimately...but...to perhaps...making the caliphate much closer, b/c of the election of a pro-Muslim president.

Arguably, the caliphate is that much closer than it would have been had the Muslims not had their own President of the US.

So if you follow THAT reasoning....then....Bush should not have invaded.....

I really don’t know exactly what to think now. I’d sure listen strongly to Wolfowitz. I like him a lot. At least we know he’s on the side of America, which is far more than we can say about obama.

It’s very convoluted.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, and others.
