Tuesdays on Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends," Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) discussed the humanitarian crisis of thousands of unaccompanied minors flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border.
Perry gave an ominous warning: "We have record high numbers of other than Mexicans being apprehended at the border. These are people that are coming from states like Syria that have substantial connections back to terrorist regimes and terrorist operations. So we're seeing record, historic high numbers of these individuals being apprehended."
Perry said he warned the Obama administration about the current border chaos in 2012.
"We flagged this issue in 2012 and have yet to even have a response as far as I know, from not just, not from the president, but not even from his administration," he said.
Perry criticized the president by adding, "[Obama] is totally and absolutely either inept or making some decisions that are not in the best interest of American citizens, particularly from a public safety standpoint."

Obama would probably release or refuse to deport any invader we captured, just like in Arizona.
Well, Governor Perry. Do something about it. Call up the National Guard and close the damn border.
He could take that action and be handed the presidency.
Texas should condemn a 500-foot-wide strip along the border; pay the private property owners at least the tax value of the land confiscated; build barbed-wire fences along both sides of the strip; and mine the land in between. Signs on both fences (in English on the signs facing the U.S., in Spanish on the sides facing Mexico) should warn that anyone breaching the fence, whether by cutting it or climbing over it, may be blown up by a land mine.
Too harsh? I think not. We are being invaded, and it's long past time that we should react appropriately to that circumstance. The act of invasion is itself a crime, but of course the invaders generally don't stop there -- at a minimum, they'll avail themselves of social services paid for by U.S. taxpayers which should be reserved for U.S. citizens; and of course, it is frequently worse -- drug trafficking, gun running, burglary, rape, drunk driving (here in NC, far from the border, driving the wrong way on freeways, often with deadly results, is an illegal immigrant specialty), and more.
And then, as Gov. Perry points out, there is the terrorist aspect. Muslim terrorists are not stupid; they recognize where the easiest points of entry into the U.S. are. Political correctness, specifically the urge not to offend, has proven to be fatal many times. Will we offend our neighbors to the south by securing our border? Who cares?
Well Perry, you are the governor of Texas, how about YOU do something about it and quit waiting on someone you know isn’t!

I’m afraid it’s not an either/or proposition, Governor.

Perry acts like he is powerless to protect his own state. I will be glad when he is no longer governor.
And his cheer squad runs to the rescue as always. Just as liberal as he is. What else can you call people defending him? He fought the fence like a madman. Now we have this mess. Just like many of us predicted.

Oh, how I wish that I was very, very wrong. I weep for my children and my grandchildren.
Then logically, it would follow that there are record numbers of these terrorists crossing, and NOT being apprehended. That mad rush of "children" at the border is designed to provide cover and distraction for several nefarious plots by the communist, muslim terrorists who are running this administration.
And from there, it would be reasonable to expect several to many terrorist attacks here inside the USA between now and the day odinga is removed from the White Hut.
