Here’s a real problem: Most citizens of the United States have never been taught, or had to reaffirm, any oath of citizenship. They do not know the distinction between being a “citizen of the world” and a “Citizen of the United States.” It’s a really big problem. Thank you, public schools and liberal educrats.

This is why the "natural born citizen" requirement was written into the Constitution. The President must be one who clearly is "one of us." Regardless of the legalities of whether his mother was able to confer citizenship on him, he did not grow up in an American environment. Even in Hawaii he was kept separate from that environment. He is not only not "one of us," he never was "one of us."
