George Zimmerman's lawsuit against NBC Universal, which alleges the media company defamed him by deceptively editing his call to police the night he shot Trayvon Martin, returns to court this morning in Sanford.
NBC has asked Circuit Judge Debra Nelson to dismiss the lawsuit. The hearing is set for 9:30 a.m.
Zimmerman filed suit in December 2012, accusing NBC News of "yellow journalism" in its editing of his Feb. 26, 2012, call to Sanford police, in which Zimmerman reported the Miami Gardens teen as suspicious.

Me too...it was wrong what they did and they need to learn to knock that off by paying for it financially where it hurts!

I see the impending civil rights investigation of Zimmerman has turned out about as I expected. There was no case and it was nothing but talk to stir unrest on the plantation.

NBC deserves to have all its assets transferred to Zimmerman. Everything. They deliberately and intentionally lied to push the idea on us that Whites are racist.

(Media: completely irresponsible. Complicit in the destruction of this country.)
Let’s see: NBC altered the audio. ABC altered the video. Methinks the White Hispanic is going to get some serious $$$ out of all this. I sure hope so.
NBC altered the audio. ABC altered the video.

I think circuit court is federal court.

It appears to be a Florida court. This is basically a defamation suit, which state courts are competent to hear. Because of the amounts involved and the serious 1st Amendment issues involved, it is possible it could be transferred to the federal circuit, but that might not occur until the appeals process starts.
This might be a long one if Zimmerman isn’t willing to settle out of court.

Don't forget this little gem: ABC uses a graphic with "ABC NEWS EXCLUSIVE" in the lower right hand corner of the screen to identify its video. When they showed Zimmerman getting out of the cop car, the logo magically was up higher-covering the bloody head of Zimmerman so it looked like their was no injuries.
Have you ever seen such crap? Why would that logo be so high?
