U.S. takes further actions against Uganda for anti-LGBT law

The Obama administration will take additional actions against Uganda for their enactment of an anti-LGBT law, including restricting entry to the U.S. by Uganda officials involved in anti-LGBT human rights abuses.

National Security Council spokesperson Caitlin Hayden announced Thursday the additional measures, building upon a series of cuts in aid to the African nation announced earlier this year.

Hmmm. Will Obama to take similar action against Saudi Arabia?

“including restricting entry to the U.S. by Uganda officials involved in anti-LGBT human rights abuses.”

Obama will have to deny access to the new head of the UN assembly in order to do that. If he does so, there will be a backlash of fury across sub-Saharan Africa dwarfing what we have seen so far. Pure left wing imperialism.

Lol. Not a chance. SAUDI ARAMCO owns us. The King bought BACK all the rights to their own petroleum and natural gas WAY back in the early 1980's. Imagine that.

It's my guess that the King used some "spare change" to do it.

In 1985 the King, who personally owns all the petroleum and natural gas (to keep the wealthy and prominent Saudi families from fighting over them,) made one billion dollars every two and a half days. I can't even BEGIN to imagine what that figure is now, twenty years later.

Besides, if Saudi homosexuals or bisexuals want to play around they can visit Europe or the USA.

According to the White House, such cuts include a $2.4 million program in support for the Uganda Police Force community-policing program. Financial aid supporting the Ministry of Health’s central headquarters staff, including salaries and travel expenses, will also be shifted...”

Can he withhold this money that was approved by the House and Senate without their approval?

So maybe Uganda needs to start raising funds from Americans opposed to Obama’s agenda, or would Obama block any transfers of funds from the US to Uganda?

In the real world no one gives a flip what Uganda does with gays

That is a good question, but I have to say it is like Obama is the President of Gay America, and that’s it, nobody else. The rest of us can just go jump in a lake, black folks included.

I can’t stand these perverts. They should be pushed BACK into the closet, the door should be nailed shut and we should take the word “gay” back from these sodomites.

My daughter has been to Uganda twice on mission trips and she, her husband, and two friends are going in three weeks. I am friends with some of her friends from Uganda on FB. I told them when I posted this article that many Americans do not agree with Obama on this.

He won’t deal with Iraq, Syria, Russia and Nigeria, (I’m sure I missed a ton) but he decides to step in over LGBT rights?

Stop the leftist propaganda. A 30-year-old homo has no more disposable income than a 30-year-old unmarried straight guy.

The Democrats have targeted gays as a mega donation source. Observe how they they are always catering to the gay ego (currently the very swelled gay ego) to achieve this. The Dems do not bother with unmarried straight guys who in any event may have to be paying child support regardless of marital status. So have less disposable income to send to any kind of political campaigns.

Homos are out numbered by straight guys 97 to 3.

I guess we’ll need to disagree about the homo influence. I don’t buy the leftist propaganda.

As a native Ugandan, lived all my life in this beautiful country, what pains me most is the lies that we are hurting homosexuals (yes, they’re not gay). The saddest part of the lies spewed by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty Internationl are not tested for truth but just regurgitated wholesale by international mainstream media. But then, it’s all part of the great big homosexual agenda.

No one has been murdered or physically attacked for being a homosexual. Our laws reflect our societal choices just like any other society. Incest and polygamy, even when consential, are socially unacceptable in the US. To preserve that, the state criminalised them. We have done nothing different regarding homosexuality. If the US will not accept this, we respect that. What we won’t take is the lies that suggest that we are attacking homosexual people.

Please, task your government to produce real and independently verifiable proof that homosexuals are in danger of violence in Uganda. The law is clear: you should not get caught in homosexual sexual acts or actively promoting homosexuality. Your business is yours - no ‘pride’ parades etc. We have lived with homosexuals in our society for ages. Though we have disagreed with their lifestyle, we have left them alone. Thanks to the homosexual movement’s actions to make it ‘normal’ we have countered that with a new legal framework. But that is all. Actually the claims of violence against homosexuals is a since case of wishful thinking. They are hoping and wishing attack homosexuals so that they say “you see!”. No, no, no, Ugandans are not lynching homosexuals. The US government is lying to its people and being disrespectful to Ugandans. Make them answer for this! (sorry for the rant).
