The tea party has claimed its first spot in House leadership with the election of Rep. Steve Scalise to the No. 3 post majority whip. Will he ease GOP tensions or make them worse?
...The Louisianan will take the position of whip, making him responsible for corralling votes in order to pass legislation. He fills the slot left vacant by Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California, who was elected and elevated to the No. 2 job of majority leader, who decides what legislation comes to a vote.

Right now we look like the dysfunctional Democrat party of the mid 1980s....when the extreme kooks (there was ONCE a somewhat REASONABLE faction of that party, though they all were liberals) threatened to leave...and instead chose to stay and eventually TOOK OVER.
Don’t be fooled. According to Mark Levin he is a John Boehner lackey.

IF a Conservative Politician is a Politician that Conserves, THEN what in the Obama has Rep. Scalise EVER Conserved?
A TEA Party person couldn’t possibly be a “whip” for the current RINO leadership. After all, his job is to get the votes to support the RINO leadership. These things are mutual exclusive.
He is already one of them. Just recently, he showed his true colors but the situation slips my mind right now.

This election was called quickly after Cantor’s defeat so Boehner could win and Boehner and the Establishment won control of all posts.
Scalise will make emotional conservative speeches, talk show appearances, Fox News appearances etc. and then twist the arms of individual Republican members like “whips” are supposed to do to make them vote liberal.
