During a House Ways and Means Committee hearing earlier today, IRS Commissioner John Koskinen refused to take any responsibility or apologize for his agency’s loss of subpoenaed records in the IRS targeting scandal.
As Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., berates him in the clip below, Koskinen defiantly insists that his agency did nothing wrong in failing to inform Congress months earlier that the records no longer existed.

Boehner, Cantor and McConnell were probably in on it. That’s why we haven’t gotten to the bottom of it. I don’t trust those establishment RINOS at all. They have openly declared war on the TEA party people and I believe this fit into their plans nicely.
I watched most of it in real time. The Dems and the IRS looked stupid. The GOP looked great.
I wanted to slap that smart alec grin right off of the Commish’s face, and I hope the Pubbies will do that before they are through.
He also said that he expected to serve out the remaining “three years” of his term. I hope that the GOP makes him eat those words by seeing that he is fired by whatever means they have. How dare he say that he will not cooperate.
He was pretty nasty and argumentative today.

It makes no difference what the IRS does to the TEA Party if you and other Progressive/Socialist Republicans legalize the criminal invasion of our country by foreigners who will vote DemocRAT so that they are given more and more.
What is happening at the border is the amassing of the FSA (Free $hit Army).
So Paul, go away. Take all the RINOs with you.
ALL immigration but especially illegal immigration needs to be throttled back in order to preserve our truly unique American culture.

Loved where the arrogant IRS guy was complaining about how there had already been investigations "and no evidence was found" of any wrong doing.
Of course "no evidence was found".
Wasn't that the whole point of asking him:
Where are all the missing Emails?
What happened to the computers that the dog ate?
Sure looks like the evidence was destroyed.
And on a side note- Isn't it great that the IRS is in charge of everyone's health care?

This guy lost ALL credibility when he went after the retirement pay of our military.

Exactly. So what if Lerner’s emails truly were lost, destroyed, wiped, or whatever? Every one of her emails has at least one recpient or sender, not to mention CCs and BCCs. Find THOSE people’s emails.
How stupid do they think we are? And if the investigating committee doesn’t pursue that avenue, then “we” ARE stupid.
Well, most people thought he won that debate, so yes.
It’s true, this regime is so lawless that it’s terrifying, even to people who are theoretically powerful themselves. Actually, I’d suspect there are probably even some Dems who are disturbed by this affair...and are simply too scared to say anything. Obama may be soft on terrorists and enemies of the US, but he’s ruthless against his political opponents.
It would be wonderful if Boehner & Co. would do something concrete, even if it had no chance of succeeding, because what people need to see right now is some kind of resistance and at least an attempt to fight back and respond to what are essentially the ominous taunts of a dictator.
They really do think they’re untouchable. So far, that’s proved to be the case, but it can’t go on like this forever.

The words of a proven liar to a talk show host seeking ratings impress me not at all. I can see the stall/pressure relief tactic for what it is.
When I see someone in this admin jailed above some fall guy, I will take these people seriously. Not until.
