I've been thinking, the LGBTQAWHATEEVERNEWINITALSAREADDEDTODAY community doesn't give enough credit to Woody Allen for advancing marriage equality. Not merely because he set the real life example by marrying his own stepdaughter (SHAME on the bigots for JUDGING him!), but by showcasing many non-traditional types of marriage in his movies.

One Woody Allen featured a tender loving relationship between a man and a sheep. Who are people to judge their LOVE??

Another film, "What's Up Tiger Lily?" featured a previously taboo depiction of a marriage between a bird and a snake. The man who officiated the marriage between the two of them even showed up the happy newlyweds.

One wonders why Woody Allen hasn't become a hero for standing up for marriage freedom. I think he should depict group marriage between 3 year boys and tacos next.
