Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke at the Faith & Freedom Coalition's annual conference in Washington, D.C., on Thursday. He address the Internal Revenue Service invasive questioning conservative groups and ObamaCare birth control mandates. "The idea that our federal government is going after our religious liberty now is just astonishing and heartbreaking," Cruz said. "No time in our nation's history have we seen threats like these to our religious liberty." He cited Meriam Yahya Ibrahim Ishag, a Christian woman who was sentenced to death in Sudan for refusing to denounce her faith. Cruz argued, "Christians are being persecuted in stunning numbers ... we need the United States to say in no uncertain terms, 'Send Meriam home."
Cruz blasted President Barack Obama's foreign policy failures: "We see our foreign policy collapsing every week as the world is getting more and more dangerous."

They will convert our country into a 'worker's paradise' just as surely.
Cruz is certainly right but still the left is oblivious of it.
IOW, a permanent democrat voting majority, which is the plan behind it all.

That should help. Doc WoC
The biggest threat to this country is government dependence. That was the difference between electing Reagan in 1980, and re-electing Obama in 2012.
At the forefront of it all... please remember to call God into your picture. No victory against evil can be won without His presence and help.
The moron class that voted TWICE for Obama is the biggest threat we have.
I’d point to the obverse: it is attempts to not depend on God, or to depend on things that are not-God. Government is the idol du jour but many idols are possible.
Agree. That was what brought on the government dependence I noted in the post before yours.
That is, abandoning God for the false god of government.
They were only the vessel, the vehicle, of evil, at the time. The perennial temptation is to write them all off as permanent anathema, whilst making proud statements of superiority, but that is exactly the wrong move as well as erroneous.
We have an actual battle between hell and heaven here. The future will favor the one we cheer for.
Government has become one false god. But there are others. Any time we find we have started strutting it’s time to check if we just fell into the arms of another one.
The left IS the threat that we’re facing in this country.
He may be right.
Don’t blame the voters for Obama. We’ll get someone even worse next election if the backstabbing RINOs force the nomination of another born loser who inspires no one.
“The left IS the threat that were facing in this country.”
The left includes a lot of different people. IMHO much of what is happening was/is part of the plan. If you were in a communist/socialist nation intelligence agency and were charged with finding ways to make Khrushchev’s proclamation that ‘we will bury you without firing a shot’ come true, you would clearly use the openness of American society to achieve that aim. It’s very straightforward: e.g. 1) cause dissension by using socioeconomic divisions, racial groups, religious groups, and gender to pit Americans against Americans. 2) Encourage policies that will cause rapid demographic shifts - concentrating on increasing the numbers of those coming from groups that traditionally have issues with America and colonialism. 3) Use the American desire/value to be ‘fair’ and ‘inclusive’ to undermine nationalism. etc. etc.
The threat originally came from the outside. It is now entrenched within. We have our work cut out.
Unprecedented because we’ve never had so many enemies within.
Not entirely unprecedented - we’ve been fighting communism for sixty years, just not communism espoused by individuals in the White House and in congress.
