He has already visited Bhutan and his future destinations over the next few months are likely to include Japan, Brazil, Southeast Asia, Australia and Nepal. Meanwhile, the Chinese foreign minister has saluted the new Modi government for injecting “new vitality into an ancient civilisation”.

The exercise of foreign policy should become an interesting study when practiced by a guy who considers all non-Hindi speakers to be foreigners.

You need to study the superior prosperity in state of Gujerat compared to all other states in India. In his reign as chief minister of Gujerat for 10 years, Modi’s accomplishments are legion. No wonder he got elected in a landslide for nation wide office of Prime Minister. All other states want him to accomplish for the whole country what he accomplished in his native state.

Modi’s foreign policy will have one single purpose...a pragmatic approach to increasing mutual economic prosperity. And his main tool is PRIVATE Enterprise with minimum intervention by the government. He was the reason a non-Hindu businessman, Mr. Tata was able to build a auto manufacturing plant in Gujerat state in record minimum time.
