I do t not watch or read any MSM sources, but from what I read here and elsewhere, the news about the IRS scandal is being spiked.

The low info drones have no ideas what is going on now or what this is about.

Until someone can take the information from them by force, the Obama government can act with all contempt and be a criminal enterprise.

This, along with Benghazi, is one of the most blatant and outrageous things the government has done under this filth bag administration. I smack my liberal family members upside the head with this one every chance I get, always reminding them that, one day, Republican’s will be in charge. Accept this crap now, don’t cry about it later.

But, I really just want it to stop. I just want enough Democrats to love our country more than their party, and I don’t really want Republicans to do the same crap. But, it does work to get through to them a millimeter or so.Some are even coming around,

I totally agree. I was watching the Business Block this morning on FOX and Rick Unger was in a tizzy about the IRS stuff .. when he had been poo-pooing it for some time as ‘no there there’ issue. I was really shocked. He’s such a hard line democrat .. I just hope he will be able to convince more dems that there definitely is something THERE.

Same way they get away with everything. There’s no one to hold them accountable. No watchdog media. A Democrat party that cheers them on. And a GOP that’s too inept and spineless to play its role of keeping the scofflaws in check.

As a tech expert who’s intimately familiar with how enterprise email works, I’m stunned at what I’m watching unfold, stunned by how there’s apparently no one to stand up and scream, “FORGET ABOUT THE HARD DRIVES THEY DESTROYED! WHERE’S THE EXCHANGE SERVER? WHERE ARE THE BACKUP TAPES?”

They get away with it in part because the constitution is flawed.

We ask the executive branch to prosecute the executive branch.

The alternative is impeachment, but getting 2/3rds of the Senate to agree to a guilty verdict is next to impossible.

By lying and cheating; by playing the race card; by virtue of a news media that’s sacrificed even the pretense of objectivity and have become nothing less than the propaganda arm of the Democrats; and because the American people, by and large, don’t give a rat’s *ss about anything these days but television, feeding their faces, shopping, and keeping up with their celebrity gossip.

In my opinion the VA scandal is even worse than Benghazi, when you consider the number of casualties and how they occurred...essentially our own citizens killing our veterans through willful neglect.

Of course Liar Lerner’s emails were backed up — multiple times in multiple locations. Even the “my dog ate my hard drive” excuse is totally lame as well because all the emails are stored on the email server for at least six months (probably much longer than that) and would have automatically been restored onto the replacement laptop or hard drive that Liar Lerner no doubt received within the same week her hard drive supposedly went terminally soft.

I don’t understand why the committee doesn’t hold her in contempt and slap her behind bars until she sings. I hear that confession is good for the soul and probably would keep her healthier as well (if she tells all, there would be less motivation for the regime to have her breitbarted/fuddied so if she had any sense, she ought to be singing her heart out).

Everything you said about email archiving is true. Most people, unless they’ve been living under a rock, know that email is redundantly stored precisely because of hardware failures etc. The issue is the brazen nature of the lie.

I'm trying to think how to frame this to my Republican congressman. I can't call him, because they can then ID me.

I'll have to send an anonymous letter, just like the Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers.

The essential problem is the century and a half of concerted and relentless effort on the part of the Marxists, who have fine tuned the arts of subversion and corruption, and very patiently undertaken the “Long March Through the Institutions” of our once great nation, while none dared call it treason.

If the Republicans in the House already know that Eric Holder will not prosecute any one of these scumbags....then what exactly is their goal? I mean c’mon, are they looking for CSPAN soundbites only? Thats not going to stop or change anything. In fact, it gets people more infuriated when they see them do nothing, stop nothing, waste of time, nobody convicted, nobody indicted, nobody losing pensions, nobody losing their parking spot, etc. These guys are like the H.G. Wells Morlocks who do and take whatever they want, whenever they want. And nobody is there to stop them. The only thing missing is the siren to at least give us the heads up!

Unfortunately, our aged Republican leadership comes from an era where the rules were different. They still believe that if they play by Marquess of Queensberry rules, they will be seen as taking the high ground, as being morally superior, as being more trustworthy to the people.

Unfortunately, they suffer from several errors of thinking:

1. There are no rules anymore. Their own fealty to the rule of law is being used against them by unscrupulous and bad-faith opponents.

2. They are chasing an image of a country that no longer exists. Their opposites across the aisle who thought and played as they do have died off or been retired.

3. A new breed of "American" has infiltrated the government, who don't respect the past traditions because they were groomed in a value system that originated elsewhere. Valerie Jarrett was born in Iran. George Soros was born in Hungary. Barack Obama's alleged father was born in Kenya.

I just want enough Democrats to love our country more than their party

If only.

The Framers plan divided power between the states and the government they created. The 17th Amendment consolidated power among three branches in DC. In recent times, a government of three branches became two, in the form of the democrat and republican parties.

Now, the rats run government without regard to the constitution, and the pubbies are fast joining them.

We are very near one party, Uniparty government, like any fascist or communist country.

They get away with it in part because the constitution is flawed.

If you mean the constitution post-1913, you couldn't be more correct.

Until it is in the aggregate interest of congress to stand up to tyranny, tyranny will prosper.

The 17th Amendment represents a fundamental contradiction in our republic. We have a federal constitution without a federal government. The government acts on the states, yet the states are not represented in congress. It contradicts the maxim of republics, consent of the governed.

The 17th killed the institutional pride of the senate. Rather than look out for the interests of the states, the senate exists to serve the ambition and avarice of its members. If that means rubber-stamping whatever El-President wants, that's okay. For these men and women, there is no electoral or personal downside to the destruction of our nation.

The 17th facilitated our slide into a nation of men, rather than laws. If restoration of freedom is the goal, there is no substitute for repeal of the 17th.

I agree 100% without the 17th Harry Reid would be back in Vegas screwing up that town.

However the 17th does nothing about the AG being part of the executive branch.

A senate of the states wouldn't have consented to the appointment of anti-10th amendment radicals like Holder.

We wouldn't have half a Supreme Court with judges hostile to the 10th either.

When Obama seated off-the-scale Lefties to the NLRB and CFPB without the consent of the senate, a senate of the states would have pleaded for articles of impeachment from the House.

It really isn’t a cover up. It is just the same old, same old. Obama and Holder determined quite a while ago that they can do anything they want. There is no voter accountability - 2012 elections proved that. There is no opposition accountability from conniving GOPe leadership. And, there is no legal accountability from a justice system so corrupted by irrational liberal ideology it isn’t even funny. The media? Well, there’s no need to discuss what we all know about it.

It is just plain old arrogant defiance that stems from the confidence that nothing of substance will done about the actions they take.
