Gov. Rick Scott approved several pro-gun bills Friday that covered everything from clarifying use of force to ending insurance discrimination against gun owners.

Is he going to pardon persons in jail for firing warning shots?
I don’t know. Wouldn’t be a bad thing to do.
I think there was a black woman in Jacksonville recently sentenced to several years for doing just that....
it isn’t a warning then but a threat (at best)
Not sure, but the woman in Jacksonville that was convicted by Angela Corey may get a new trial based on this new law. The Judge has put a hold on the proceedings to await the bill’s passage or veto before his ruling.

It’s not a warning shot if you leave the room unimpeded, go to the garage to get the gun, and return to the room to fire the “warning” shot.
I gather he didn’t invite G. Zimmerman to the signing ceremony.
This is an election year, a great time to sign such legislation, but does it really mean anything other than pandering to Second Amendment voters.
Yeah, that really is a threat if not also destructive mischief. The whole context does matter. FloriDUH has gotten some DUH convictions (and some DUH exonerations) but this doesn’t look like it is in that group.
Yes, it does. It slaps zero tolerance idiocy across the face with an injection of common sense, and it prevents anti-gun prosecutors from prosecuting non-lethal self-defense uses of guns such as brandishment and warning shots.
And if you will never see anything but the cynical side of everything, your heart will soon be numb to any gift of God.
....and pandering to prolife recently too....
....right after he signed legislative bill to allow ILLEGALS free instate tuition
Yeah, I guess passing and enforcing legislation is all show.
He should’ve ignored the desires of gun owners and had a public burning of the 2nd amendment. That would’ve really shown us.

To answer your post .....(although not addressed to me)...,.I am totally open to God.....I also abide by the Rule of Law......and I wish to goodness Scott did, I voted for the guy.
If he is threatening the children who are still in the room with him?
I was following that case of the woman and her "warning shot". My opinion is that she simply missed, and then decided to claim it was a warning shot.
If you hold any human at all up to the perfection light that person will fall short.
And so would you (and I), but pride blinds.
Idolize nobody; but damn nobody either. If damning is needed, God will do it at the right and wise and just and proper time.
He must be pretty desperate to get re-elected after helping with the railroading of George Zimmerman and agreeing to Medicaid expansion under Obamacare in his state.
Tom Corbett is trying to make some conservative noise here in PA but will use whatever bills get to his desk as bargaining chips for more tax increases.
The games politicians play.
