The most amazing part of this argument isnt the Pavlovian resort to identity-card victimization, although thats certainly amazing enough. Its the total amnesia about how Democrats spent their 2012 summer vacation and the abject hypocrisy that follows that causes the jaw to drop. I missed this part of the Washington Post story on Democratic panic over Hillary Clintons continuing faceplants over her wealth, but David Frum pointed it out on Twitter (via Twitchy):
"Strategist Donna Brazile, a Clinton supporter, said scrutiny of Clintons speaking fees smacks of sexism. http://t.co/5Lsdjjsl9X
David Frum (@davidfrum) June 22, 2014
But Donna doesnt go far enough. ANY unwelcome scrutiny of *anything* HRC says or does = sexism. http://t.co/5Lsdjjsl9X

Heres Brazile throwing the sexism card:
Strategist Donna Brazile, a Clinton supporter, said scrutiny of Clintons speaking fees smacks of sexism.
I hope Hillary never apologizes for trying to earn a living, Brazile said. Shes no different than [former secretary of state] Colin Powell, no different than [former Florida governor] Jeb Bush, no different than anybody else whos left public office and looked for ways to make an income. . . . What is wrong with a woman having the same earning potential as any man?
Ahem. Brazile and her fellow Democrats spent all summer in 2012 attacking Mitt Romneys wealth and the business he created, even while Barack Obama kept a former Bain exec as an advisor. Harry Reid accused Romney of tax evasion for a decade, allegations which proved utterly false, in an attempt to pressure Romney into releasing his income tax records for Democrats to attack which they did, incessantly. Romney, who never pretended to be a middle-class guy struggling to pay his bills, got repeatedly painted as a prep-school elitist who couldnt possibly understand the experience of middle America on the basis and origin of his wealth.
Now, suddenly, focusing on wealth is not just improper but sexist.
Yeah, what’s wrong with her guzzling at the government money trough like her nominal husband?
Here we go. You were a racist when you questioned Obama, now you are a sexist for laughing at Hillary! for claiming she is dead broke. Get ready for 4 or 8 years of this if, God Forbid, she wins.
Now I’m a sexist?
I am a racist for criticizing Obama.
I am a teabagger for supporting the constitution.
I am a reactionary for questioning Obama’s foggy and unclear past.
I am a hatemonger for denouncing the economically dangerous “Obamacare”.
I am a fascist for admiring the founding fathers.
I am a conspiracy theorist for denouncing Obama’s support for terrorists in the Middle East.
AND I am a traitor for denouncing the NSA spying on my fellow Americans. As someone, somewhere once said: “”In Obama’s America, truth is the new racism.”
I ain’t gone bump no mo with no big fat woman.
Somebody take her.
She’s too big for me.
She done knocked me down once, down once.
She came over to me,
Snatched me out of my seat.
She wanted to get on down,
Still wanted to get on down.
I told her to go on
And leave me alone.
I ain’t getting down
You done hurt my hip once
Leave me alone Donna, waiting by the telephone, waiting for the phone to ring. And get a job. Stop talking. You fat.
Nice to hear that comments about wealth are out of bounds...
Let me reverse the meme on her, as she is not really worth listening to -
“Shut up, Donna, you racist!”
B*tch brought her poverty up. Her wealth is fair game. Mitt’s wealth was mentioned in passing as I recall.
Isnt this rich? What was it called when the media, RAT’s and the left (triple redundancy, apologies) went after Sarah Palin with all the venom they could muster?
Mitts wealth was mentioned in passing as I recall.
Yeah, but thats different. He’s a wealthy male, whereas Hillary is a womyn who barely gets by day to day and needs special protection because, as a womyn, she is so fragile.
Just like asking Obama (Mr. Income inequality) would be racist... see?
That’s beautiful!
She may be a fragile womyn — but, she’s a strong fragile womyn. Hear her roar, while she whimpers.
She may have a hundred million bucks; but, that doesn’t mean she isn’t struggling to get by. Why do you keep picking on fragile strong womyn?
Don’t worry, if she wins she won’t live long. Her physical health won’t allow her to do the job for long. Plus the fact that she’s a raging drunk.
CC
The gop agrees with them on #3 and #8.
The important slot will be who runs as her veep. Look for Jeb Bush.
Brazile, you dummy! Hillary brought it up.
Why do you keep picking on fragile strong womyn?
Cause I’m sexist.
I thought Brazile’s 15 minutes were up back in the 90s. Why is she out there running around whining and crying about everything? She needs to get a REAL job.
What a complete fool.
