Tonight at 7:00 Eastern the House Oversight Committee will have their shot at getting answers from IRS Commissioner John Koskinen on the destruction of two years of key IRS emails at a hearing entitled, IRS Obstruction: Lois Lerners Missing Emails.
I expect even more fireworks tonight than there was at the House Ways and Means Committee hearing on Friday, given the latest developments on the IRS scandal that came to light over the weekend.
On Friday afternoon, it was discovered that the IRS used email back-up company, Sonasoft, a small Silicon Valley company with connections to Obama.
The Daily Caller reported on Sunday that the IRS canceled their contract with Sonasoft just weeks after Lerners computer crashed and shortly before other IRS officials computers allegedly crashed.

the criminals in this government need to be IN JAIL !
I was thinking more a wall and firing squad, but if we can at least get jail I am fine with that.
We need a live thread!!!
Agree. How about this one?
“the GOP needs to get serious and get a federal grand jury empaneled. this committee theater bullshit is getting old and produces nothing.
the criminals in this government need to be IN JAIL !”
Yes, and once, “hello, ‘toothbrush’”!
No speeches. Just ask the questions & get the answers!
FNC was saying earlier they were going to air it. Ain’t this BO’s time slot? Ain’t going to happen IMO.
C-Span 2 starting at 6 EDT
“”We need a live thread!!!”””
We need some Republicans who will put the hammer down instead of putting on dog and pony shows.
Sorry, that is 7 EDT!
>> the GOP needs to get serious
The GOP is just another two-bit player in this carnival.
Will they bring out the dancing poodles? Every circus needs dancing poodles. Maybe Darryl Issa will do a death defying leap into a vat of whitewash?
Sorry but I’ll miss the fireworks. I’ve got to wash the dishes and trim my nose hair. Priorities dontcha know.
” ... Lerners computer crashed and shortly before other IRS officials computers allegedly crashed.”
Lerner finds out that her cracked azz is in a crack, and in the days that follow the hard disks of everyone she communicated with start crashing.
What an amazing set of coinkydinks ....
(Without a tv, though. Gotta rely on you good FRiends)
A federal grand jury would operate in secret; should it uncover any prosecutable offenses, those would be completely emasculated by Eric Holder.
On the other hand, the committee proceedings demand coverage by the media. While much of the liberal MSM would downplay negative findings, enough of the information developed would be dispersed by alternative media that serious questions would arise in much of the voting public.
maybe it was a truth eliminating virus

THIS PROGRAM HAS NOT YET AIRED
Airing LIVE Monday 7:00pm EDT on C-SPAN 2
fox will be showing some parts
They’re apparently running late.
Gretta is reporting on it now.
We’re going to need a bigger jail...
Is Jeff flake speaking now in the senate?
Jeff Flake needs to get off!
Senate just adjourned.
Mod pulled it off the Breaking sidebar. Why, he wonders
I think so. At the bottom of the C-Span 2 feed, it says that the hearing will start when the Senate finishes the session.
Hope those rascally demos don’t keep on yakking, just to delay it until too late!
So I have AT&T Uverse (the most expensive package) and I cannot find a CSPAN channel. Used to get it so I assume they took it off my package.
Anyone know what channel it would be on?
Is this the live thread?
just cordon off Washington dc
Cspan 2 will cover it. They haven’t started yet but its here.
C-Span 2 sound is awful. On purpose?
any opinion on which of the links are most reliable/have the best audio & video?
We can try.
Hey, does anyone know what Kim Jong-Uns Dog Squad is up to these days?
I’m watching in c-span and its working fine.
CSPAN works well for me. It’s in 2.
Eric Holder isn't going to suddenly arrest himself, his staff, and the IRS........
My, my isn’t Koskinen buddy buddy with many members of this committee. Laughing and shaking everyone’s hands. This is a joke.
respectfully the key word here is “indictments”.
if the American people allowed any attorney general to ignore or attempt to nullify a federal grand jury indictment, then we no longer deserve to be a free people with a constitutional republic.
it is dangerous to be satisfied with political theater or entertained by it.
with a lawless and out of control federal government, we need to return to a concept called “enforcing law” and a congressional committee is not the instrument for that.
This guy testifying is new. Why are they questioning him? Why not people who was directly involved? Like whoever oversees computers.
I thought it was a damp sponge???
What a smarmy look on Koskinen’s face.
If you dont’ have cable it will be on Cspan...Love on your computer
You know, I think it would be neat to see a clothes rack in the background of the committee room, that had orange jumpsuits ready to be worn out for the appropriate “perp walk”...And these schmups are escorted out of the room after they lie some more...
After all, “Orange is the new Black!”
Koskinen is Obama’s hand picked man to restore trust in the IRS. He came from Freddie Mac.
He has a condescending smirk on his face. I noticed other democrats debating this have a smirk on their face, like their saying, prove it, we’ve destroyed every piece of evidence.
I can’t get any sound at all!
My settings are all correct, and just checked to make sure my sound worked - it does...
getting paranoid that my internet provider is messing with my head!
Got it on, Thanks!
