Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) late Monday criticized IRS Commissioner John Koskinen for claiming there’s no evidence of criminal misconduct at the IRS over the targeting scandal, even though he hasn’t bothered to examine the criminal code.
“You have already said multiple times today that there was no evidence that you found of any criminal wrongdoing,” Gowdy said. “I want you to tell me what criminal statutes you’ve evaluated.”

The Democrats fawning over this IRS hack is something I can’t fathom. Do they really think that showing their unwavering support of IRS thuggery is going to win them votes in the midterms?

I watched it LIVE!It was GREAT!!You could tell which of The DemonRats are running tight-races by their questions.Some of them Actually wanted The TRUTH!!!As for Cummings,he kept sounding like he wanted to give “The Commish”a”LEWINSKY”!!!!!
It bothers me how Koskinen is not at all worried. Kind of like watching Michael testify in The Godfather. Like he’s protected.
Why would he be worried?
How many scandals and hearings have we been through in 6 years and nobody was ever held to account for anything. WHy would it be any different this time?

I agree. Gowdy kind of seems like one of the good guys, but I saw grandstanding there. There needs to be a trial. There needs to be prosecution. People need to be in jail.
I say again: I saw grandstanding. Nobody is DOING anything.
