"Trey Gowdy OWNS Irs Commissioner John Koskinen at irs targeting hearing.
Trey Gowdy vs Irs Commissioner. IRS Commissioner John Koskinen testifies before the House Oversight and Government. Trey Gowdy relentlessly hammered IRS Commissioner John Koskinen on the missing IRS emails and on how Koskinen hasn't personally seen evidence of criminal wrongdoing at the IRS, which Gowdy found particularly outrageous because Koskinen hasn't read the relevant criminal statutes."
Gowdy lectured Koskinen on the "negative inference" drawn by the inability of the IRS to retrieve these emails, and said if a taxpayer is being prosecuted by the IRS a jury would look on them with more than a little suspicion.
He pressed Koskinen on how he knows there was no criminal wrongdoing. At one point, Koskinen exasperatedly said he's relying on "common sense," at which point Gowdy went off and lectured him, shouting, "You don't have any idea of criminal wrongdoing or not!"
When Koskinen dismissed the idea of a "conspiracy" Republicans have thought up, Gowdy shouted, "You're repeating a talking point by our colleagues on the other side!"

Barry’s commissar is in over his head. The boy gotta go.
Trey Gowdy is all out of bubble gum
he beat that liar up
Anybody has any idea if Koskinen pays taxes?
And if not, anyone going to challenge him on that?
Only reason I watched the hearing was to see Gowdy take out after this petulant, arrogant man Koskinon or what ever it is - well worth the wait - that Koskinon was an official in the Clinton administration tells me all I have to know about him......
Yes he did.
They need to replay excerpts from that all day long on the news. Well of course the MSM won’t report it.
Might make for some good political ads in 2014 and 2016.
“Trey Gowdy is all out of bubble gum”
...heh heh heh. I had to look that up. Very good.
This IRS commissioner and that smirk on his face . .. I’d like to be first in line to wipe it off his face . . . what a jerk . . .
Unless and until someone A) gets demoted B) gets fired C) gets charged with criminal violations of the law D) goes to jail — what difference does it make whether Gowdy “owns” him?
Failure to obey the law, follow the law, violate the law - call it whatever you want to but the IRS did it and they think it’s big joke. Tell me, other than getting a stern talking-to by Trey Gowdy which of the A, B, C, or D above is going to happen to this guy? Koskinen will go home, keep his cushy job and pension, and will just have to live with the fact that Darrel Issa doesn’t like him very much.
Bravo Mr. Gowdy!
Exactly. It would take much more money to fire him than I it would to just give him his pension and let him go.
Well, yeah, this schmuck can say “there is no conspiracy,” and he has “not seen any evidence in the e-mails recovered from Treasury” - BECAUSE THE IRS GOONS DESTROYED (”lost”) ALL THE INCRIMINATING E-MAILS that would prove such a conspiracy! I hope Gowdy rips this jerk’s balls off and boils them in oil.
If it didn’t make the Alphabet Network Evening News shows, The Daily Show, or was mocked by the Late-Night Comics, it simply doesn’t matter, it’s like it never happened at all.
The vast majority of the Sheeple will never know about it.
Very good. The RATS were not in the room again.....losers.
Is he the next presidential candidate?
its all show for the media.
"I only came here to do two things tonight: drink some beer and kick some ass. Looks like we're almost out of beer."
That’s as good as it gets. Trey will be President some day.
He may be the only one with the (loud) cajones to stand up...
That smirking SOB at the IRS makes me sick. Democrat tool.
The absolute contempt these miserable bureaucrats have for the American people fully illustrates how out of control the bureaucracy is. They think they answer to no one.
Trey Gowdy said: “It is time for Special Council, Mister Chairman.”
If Chairman Issa does not also call for Special Council, then what would Issa be trying to cover up?
Did anyone ask the commissioner why Lerner took the fifth if there is nothing to hide? I’d love to see him stammer thru that one.
First POTUS candidate who says he will appoint Trey Gowdy
to the AG post will get my serious consideration.

If I’m ever empaneled on a federal court jury to hear a criminal case over taxes, I know right now how I’m going to vote. That agency deserves no standing whatsoever in a court of law.
Is it too soon to say:TREY GOWDY FOR PRESIDENT?
It seems more and more, every day, that they are pushing the public to a breakable point. What their plan(s) are no one knows right now. Hopefully, this ship can be righted, but it isn’t looking too good as long as guys like Boehner, McCarthy and McCain stick around.
But if it’s a fight they want, then they just might get it. If that happens, they might just get a little more than they bargained for .
Toss in a good number of the military, who I’m sure wouldn’t just blindly support any of these fools, especially now. And I don’t think their master plan is going to work out the way they want.
Two things: I’ve followed Trey Gowdy’s career since before he got to congress. He is relentless, clever, and annoyingly persistent...knowing just how to unnerve a liar. He’s a good man and the sort that President Obama should be very worried about.
Second, Judy Woodruff vouched for the character of that IRS commissioner on Fox News yesterday. I usually like Woodruff, but this thing just stinks so bad, how could she back that arrogant SOB? I don’t suspect he did anything wrong, but he sure is willing the shovel the poop for Lois Lerner and company.
Finally, if the GOP lost two years of emails, the entire country would come to a stand-still until they were found or someones head rolled. Bottom Line: It’s good to be a Democrat safely tucked into the bosom of the media.
They had her emails on tape but it was too complicated to retrieve them, but they didn’t try to either (that K-man knows of)
Jazon Chaffetz starts at about 1:50:00.
We wouldn’t want Trey Gowdy to be the President — because he would be perfect as the Attorney General.
Cruz can take AG.
Trey Gowdy is coming across as the House’s most intelligent Rep. He is on my short list (at the top) for the next Republican nominee for President. (I assume he is at least 35 years old.)
Gowdy did a very important service regardless of the sniping that nothing will come of it. He clarified the issue for each and every one who heard him.
We are basically handcuffed. Obama’s Injustice Department is worthless to us. Congress is stymied by the Senate. We’re shouting from our chains.
” - - - “ordinary men and women are too small-minded to govern their own affairs. Individuals must surrender their rights to an all-powerful sovereign” - - - “
And to think that we pay Obama to say this crap!
Well, we also pay Speaker Boehner to keep on protecting Obama from Impeachment - - - .
Run him now. Gowdy 16. We can’t wait for his maturation, or coronation. We need him now.
It ain’t over till the fat lady sings.
Seriously, do you have a better candidate in mind?
CRUZ / GOWDY 2016, or another combination of the two.
Wipe it off? I’ll rip it off and shove it up his.....
