Trey Gowdy destroys IRS Commissioner Koskinen (VIDEOS)
Flopping Aces ^ | June 24 2014 | DrJohn

It becomes painfully obvious why Koskinen was appointed commissioner of the IRS. He is a lawyer but hasn’t practiced law in 45 years. He is ignorant of the law and specifically ignorant of tax law.

He’s perfect for the job.

He’s perfect for Obama. He’s a partisan goober.

Utah Rep. needled Koskinen about a short-term data backup that the IRS had in place – but never used – when Lerner’s hard drive crashed in 2011.

‘It’s actually a disaster recovery system,’ the IRS commissioner testified, ‘and it backs up for six months in case the entire system goes down … That was the rule in 2011. Policy.’

Chaffetz wanted to know, ‘Why didn’t they just go to that six-month tape?’

“Is that all that’s needed for one to be in the running for president? Ask a few tough questions?”

So I take it that you are some “conservative purist” who has a long list of “ absolute requirements” for which no candidate exists, is that what you are saying? You want the whole loaf or nothing?

“Who says something like that? Why would he feel it was okay to make light of such a serious matter? “

Answer: a Lieberal a$$hole! They are all smug ba$tards who think they are smarter than everyone else! He’s Lois Lerner w/o the facelift and the blue dress.

This is the best Summer I’ve had since I was a kid! The Democrats are stumbling around like drunks trying to play hopscotch.

That kind of post....could/can/might give FR...and bad name.

I disagree.

I would just grant the poster some room for justifiable anger, and hyperbole.
He did neglect to add the necessary modifiers.
fake muslim citizens, and Illegal Alien Mexicans.

I have never, once, seen a Freeper attack any legal aliens; not since 1998, anyway.
Or fully honest Muslims citizens (you can't tell, in any way, that they are Muslim :) They act as American as the rest of her native born and naturalized citizens.

It may be helpful to acknowledge that recently, the MMM (Muslim Mass Murderers) in troubled areas of the world claiming that already they have their shadow army inside the United States and other Western countries to continue their permanent war for literal domination of the entire world; in the name of allah.

The problem isn’t people looking good on TV, but then doing nothing, its the fact that Congress does not have prosecutorial powers. That belongs to the DOJ. Holder runs the DOJ, so that is a dead end road.
That leaves Congress only one option they do control and that is the power of impeachment.
But be reasonable about where and to whom it is applied. It would be fruitless to go after Obama, but they can go after Holder, as he is already held in contempt of Congress and has lied before Congress.

Well....we will have to agree to disagree.

I think it was wrong that the poster just said.."Mexicans"....

I'm pretty careful with my words. And that was wrong...IMO.

You don't think...someone on the left...would just copy that post..and it would give FR a bad name?? I do......

Not sure how you don't....

FWIW-

Just in: IRS Commissioner is $100,000 donor to the DEMOCRAT PARTY.

Guess that is the fee for becoming Commissioner. His only plan .. lie, distort, plead innocence .. and while being questioned .. his eyes were darting back and forth at the committee .. as though he was looking for somebody to bail him out of that questioning. I wondered later if it was some kind of signal.

AND THE DEMS ALL HAPPILY COMPLIED.

“Attorney General”

Absolutely! He will need two terms to clean up the mess that Holder has left, but he’d be a star in that job.

Is that all that’s needed for one to be in the running for president? Ask a few tough questions?

It's a great start!

But more importantly he also had more than a few additional questions, and informed, articulate and complete answers!

Makes the stumbling mumbling of the Idi Amin look-alike on the other side, full of opinions, and lame mumblings about "these hearings should be considered concluded!" look like the ignorant savage that he is.

It's easy.
The left always has and always will, quote out of context, edit quotes, and even attribute citations, quoting leftists, as the product of the victim they are attacking!

No, I never stay awake worrying about that.

It just seems so domn hopeless with this brunch.
I guess just build an air tight case against Holder and hope Repubs take Senate next year.

Agree. I hope Mr. Gowdy reminds the IRS thugs that since they live outside the law, they should not expect any Constitutional protections. Sword cuts both ways.
Hint, hint there buddy boy.

I agree .. and Trey would be exactly the person to do the weeding out of all the democrats currently in dept who are willing to do whatever .. or any attorney willing to do whatever.

And .. he’d still have enough backbone to tell the president who appointed him; NO, NO, A THOUSAND TIMES NO.

Koskinen constantly displayed a smirk on his face as if saying: “Try as hard as you may but you will never get me. We just committed the perfect crime, and you know it.”

Koskinen seemed to be more annoyed than rattled during the hearings.
