“End the Fed” Rallies are Exploding Throughout Germany
Liberty Blitzkrieg ^ | 19 June 2014 | Michael Krieger

This is a fascinating development and one that I had no idea was happening until today. It seems that rallies are spreading throughout Germany protesting the corrupt and dying global status quo. One of the key targets of these groups is the U.S. Federal Reserve system, which as I and many others have maintained, is the core cancer infecting the entire planet.

According to the organizer of these rallies, they have now spread to up to 100 cities and have a combined attendee base of around 20,000. What is also interesting, is that the mainstream media in Germany is calling them Nazis. In Germany, if you don’t support Central Banking, this apparently means you are a Nazi. What a joke. Just more proof mainstream media everywhere is complete and total propaganda. It is also a good sign, since it shows the desperate lengths to which the power structure will go to keep their criminal ponzi alive.

Do these folks seem like Nazis to you?

I agree they should. But maybe they are. I don’t know German and the speeches weren’t translated. They were talking to an American journalist so maybe they focused on that. They seemed to realize that the Fed was started in 1913 and other countries soon followed suit.

It’s hard sometimes with the language difference. I’d like to see some of the speeches translated.

What are talking about? The U.S. didn’t “pilfer” German gold. Germany freely transferred it to the U.S. during the Cold War to safeguard it in the event that the Soviet Union over ran Europe. Germany has asked for it back and to fulfill that request the U.S. is now in the process of sending it back to Germany.

Not exactly. The FED has drug it’s heels so long many in the world are questioning if the gold exists.

Where I live was once a stronghold for the LaRouches, you could not move on a weekend without running into them.

Mark Fairchild and Janice Hart!

OH, what fun it was!!!

There have been numerous scare stories in goldbug blogs about this so-called foot-dragging. The repatriation of German gold is on schedule according to this interview with Carl-Ludwig Thiele, member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank, published in Handelsblatt on 19 February 2014:

Germany should rejoice now that this 20 year FDP politician has reassured them.

I don’t agree with a global anything ‘act’ (law), but what is wrong with calling for a return to the Glass-Steagall Act in this country or laws similar to it in other countries?

Nothing. I'd support it. But I'm not comfortable being in the company of wing nuts like Lyndon LaRouche.

See William Safire's NY Times columns "Don't Bank on It" (Apr 16, 1998) and "Running Huge Risks" (Nov 1, 1999) opposing repeal. Among his points: No private enterprise should be allowed to think of itself as ''too big to fail.'' Beware the slippery slope to crony capitalism.
