The best way to take back the GOP is to let the RINO’s lose in November.

Say it Jim! SAY NO TO THE UNIPARTY!

Free Republic was and is ahead on the curve.

You will now see this and other things from JimRob in Main street Conservative news now.

We will NOT give in to the Uniparty!

Cochran was courting Democrats on THEIR agenda.

Who do you think he will owe favors to (if) he takes office?

I'm all for Cochran's losing in November (I suspect that it's more than highly likely, as well.)

I just oppose a third party, as it is a sure fire gift to the Marxist/progressive/Dems who want to take your property, guns, and Constitution.

After tonight, anyone continuing to push the GOP is every bit as evil as the dems are. there is no exuse for supporting a party that resorts to democrats to beat conservatives.

None. It is simple math. If one supports democrats or their supporters, one is a democrat no matter how loud they scream that they are conservative. And they should be treated with the scorn any open democrat gets.

Everyone has to follow their own conscience. I have to face reality, so I will be voting for a moderate Republican in Nov. in order to help elect another GOP Senator who I might be able to influence, as opposed to a dem who I would have NO chance of influencing. Saving the country before it’s too late seems to me like a worthy effort.

Closed primaries would be a good idea too.

AGREED!!!!
THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION!!!!

Dems didn’t turn out for Thad because they want the republican to win the election. I believe it is the same reason Lindsey Graham keeps getting back in.

Take over MS State GOP party and change Primary rules.

Don't allow RINOs to allow "open Primaries" and you'll rid yourself of this kind of sham voting.

Don't pull your marbles and go home merely because you lost one vote.

Taking back the party takes determination and patience.

Ronald Reagan learned that lesson and wound up winning gargantuan elections.

He could have given up and gone home to California after losing a bruising fight to the empty suit of Gerald Ford but he didn't quit.

Reagan also didn't jump ship, cry and claim he would go "third party," merely because he lost one battle.

Yes, losing is a bitter pill but even liberals know how the game is played. In fact, they play it better than we conservatives do, i.e. lose one race and get bitter and quit.

Another point of fact is that liberals occupy the nation by running a "baby steps" game, don't go for the whole pie all at once, go for baby steps and settle for little battles in order to win BIG victories later.

Liberals didn't get where they are today by demanding everything all at once. They also don't go home and quit when they lose.

They lie in wait, when the nation's backs are turned, getting little pieces of the pie and - bingo they have gay marriage by fiat!

Liberals knew if they got the right teachers teaching the right curricula in schools, before long kids graduating high school, heading off to college, would see homosexuality as a "right" and just "another choice of relationship." Those students taught by the "right teachers" came of age believing that to deny homosexuals was the "right thing to do" and people who didn't want it to happen, were just wrong and bigots.

The next hit the GOP-e needs to take is for everyone to vote Dem in November.

GOPe has influence of controls of rules about primaries. It should be painfully obvious now that GOPe are democrats with ‘Rs’ on their lapels. They have most of the bases covered including most primaries.

I am thinking the only two ways to break the lock hold of democrats and their GOP infiltrators are:

1. Support GOPe in gaining control of Senate and returning filibuster rule to traditional status. This allows Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and others to shut down any progressive legislation that the democrats and their GOPe agents try and ram through. It also buys time to get more Tea Party conservatives into Congress in 2016 and Ted Cruz/Sarah Palin into the White House in January 2017.

2. Go full bore 3rd Party and form a coalition with majority status made from Conservatives, Perot blue collars, Reagan democrats, Independents and Libertarians. This has the advantage of neutering the GOPe. It also opens an opportunity to attract disgruntled urban black leaders who have voiced a willingness to join the Tea Party.

If I can I will steer major funding to a Tea Party Convention in 2016. I am working 24/7 on funding this and hope to have the funding in place in January 2015.

Your vote is the problem with our resistance to Marx. Let your concience or fear factor, whichever, hold you responsible for what exactly you enable.

Thankfully, your Establishment ranks are seriously thinning. We are conservatives, not Republicans first. Conservatives don’t aid and abett liberals.

Sorry, you’re no conservative. See post 22 above for details.

NO!!! they can fight us just like a GOP in DC and thats fine! Fighting against conservatism is VERY conservative and helping ensure Democrats go unprosecuted is how you move the party rightward.

Have you learned nothing?

When the GOP runs to the democrats to beat the guy and the conservative cause you claim to support, obviously it’s an act of conservatism.

you purists are the problem.

The only reason dims vote in republican primaries is so that they can then attempt to decide who their opponent will be.
Though the RNC/GOP loves to run squishy candidates, doing half the job for the dims right off the bat.

It’s hard to tell who the enemy is anymore. We all want to defeat the left. We know they are destroying our nation. Unfortunately, our establishment moderates in the party don’t see it that way, and more often than not they’re stabbing us in the back. Are they so blind for power they can’t see the threat the left poses to our nation’s present and future? Or has the Republican Party been infiltrated by Democrats who are the GOPe?
