Best thing to do is have all Pubbies and conservatives vote for the Dem in November.
**********************************
Wrong! The goal is to gain control of the Senate and voting for the Dem doesn’t help in acheiving that goal.

You are exactly correct, flames be damned.

The ruling coalition is united around several things that the people are against. They are skilled at setting up phony issues (or issues that don’t concern the Federal government) to break up the formation of any possible other coalition.

Republicans and Democrats agree that the purpose of the State is redistribution. How much, and to whom, and under what circumstances, there are disagreements. But no elected officials of either Party believe that it is wrong to take from you and give to another of their own choosing, for reasons that make sense to them.

Republicans and Democrats agree that you have “rights” - lots of them. They also agree that any question ABOUT your “rights”, or whether or not something IS a “right”, should not be decided by a political process because that is “divisive”. So, they both agree that the voice of “the People” as contemplated in Articles IX and X can only be voiced by nine unelected life tenure judges, and that five of them, at any time or for any reason, can give new “rights” and take away old ones, particularly if those old ones arise out of majority voting.

Republicans and Democrats all believe in “diversity”. They, ignoring completely the results of all social science research on this subject, and contrary to millennia of human experience and wisdom, believe that the more “diverse” our country, its institutions, and any private entities within her become, the more cohesive and productive we will become.

Republicans and Democrats almost all believe in “free trade” and “immigration”. These things are good for various constituencies of both parties while they wreck the economy and the nation.

Many of the People, perhaps a majority, do not believe in any of these things. But in our existing system, captive as it is to the MSM-mandated “process” for choosing two candidates for POTUS neither of whom will change a thing, leaves the People with no voice.

Something’s gonna blow.

Wrong! The goal is to gain control of the Senate

Suppose, by some miracle, there are 51-52 Republicans in the new Senate and Mitch McConnell is majority leader (actually, I think the seats in GA, MS, and KY are probable Dem pickups).

What, exactly, will happen to improve our situation? Why, exactly, should anyone here care?

Filing and losing KILLS his future statewide office chances.

Color me an idealist but career politicians are the problem so I think it would be great if someone thought of the thousands of disenfranchised Republican voters instead of how a challenge might affect their future plans.

The law allowed crossover votes.

RINOs played the game better and got the votes from Democrats, which was legal.

Filing lawsuits and keeping this going does no good for McDaniel and, in fact, hurts his future political chances.

Look up Woody Jenkins. His fighting a STOLEN election cost him and he never won office again.

It sucks but the system is designed to move fast and keep election results in place. Legal battle won’t work.

The law crossover votes but that law was not designed for this case. The law also says that a crossover is supposed to be fully committed to voting for that candidate in the general. Do you think all those Dems are going to vote for Cochran in the general?

The law also doesn’t say you can call voters with racist rhetoric designed to scare them out of voting for the other candidate but they did it. This was not a normal election with normal consequences, they cheated, lied, and stole this election.

And I’m quite sure Chris would consider his future before challenging.

To: who knows what evil?

She claims they only contacted R’s. She said she was in MS herself campaigning for Cochran. She claims they only said what a wonderful person Cochran is. She said they always support the incumbent in a primary because they were established by Republican Senators for that purpose. She said they support the incumbent because the incumbent is more likely to win. She said the records of what their money was spent on, who they contacted, etc, if it exists, would be filed with the FCC.

She said the big democrat turnout was because of ads on the TV by other people. I said, “Yeah, those people who sat out the primary showed up for the runoff because the runoff had ads and the primary had no ads...”

Disgusting.

She said if I don’t like the unaccountability of MS’s law, which is based on intentions and not on registration, I would need to contact the government officials in MS. Seems to me that the parties themselves decide who gets to vote in their elections, since party elections are supposed to be independent and separate from government elections.

The goal is for WHO to gain control of the Senate? People who support the rule of law and the Constitution?

If so, then there are a bunch of incumbents who need to be kicked out, and whoever replaces them - D or R - needs to be somebody who supports the rule of law and the Constitution.

As things stand, Congress has about the same ratio of decent people as Sodom and Gomorrah had, and the Lord would be totally justified to do to Congress what He did to those 2 cities.

I do think they all should be given a warning first, though, and that’s where we come in. If we fail to warn them, then the guilt is on us.

I think McDaniels ought to eye running in the general election.

I could either run as Independent or as Tea Party.

The black vote will mainly be Democratic.

And Cochran has alienated a number of Republicans in the state.

The tactic of calling McDaniels as a racist with Robo-calls will not set well with some voters.

Cochran and his campaign also used robo-calls to call McDaniel a racist...

Cochran's name reminds me of COCKROACH

Maybe Thad Cochran cockroached his way to the margin over McDaniel.

It is not necessarily a win at this point because of the possible invalid votes and the strong possibility of vote fraud.

What happens if he meets his Maker before the general election?

If he's a Democrat, he gets the Mel Carnahan treatment and stays on the ballot, and if he wins the governor will appoint the successor.

If he's a Republican, he will be declared an invalid candidate because he is not currently living in the state, and any vote for him will be a wasted vote.

meet the new boss, same as the old bosses

I agree with you. If McDaniels can get the best conservative lawyers in the country and win a challenge, great. Otherwise, let it play out. With the disgusting backstabbing RINO elitists in the US Senate, I'd prefer we not have a majority there. Better to work for a constitutional conservative HOR with a handful of constitutional conservatives as a strong minority in the US Senate.

Then, if the HOR would take back their power of the purse, maybe we can stop the nomination of a RINO backstabber for pres.

Do I really want a majority that includes McCain, Collins, Ayotte, Murkowski, Flake, etc.... NO
