V A ping.
It’s too bad our Senator, Tom Coburn, is leaving!
The VA is based on a backwards system of incentives in which veterans are incentivized to move to categories of increasing disability rather than try to recover whatever health they can. It would have to be cheaper and simpler to eliminate the VA altogether and simply provide veterans with something like medicare which they could use for treatments at their discretion.
These so called "hidden lists." Anyone who participated in the creation and maintenance of those lists committed a crime. That's another way of saying "falsifying federal records." Felony.
Anyone who participated in these falsifications for monetary gain, like gaining performance bonuses, has committed fraud. Felony.
And then there are the deaths. Many states (not sure about federal law) have laws stating that if someone dies as a result of a party committing a felony, that party is considered to have participated in the homicide, even if that person did not directly kill the victim.
These are CRIMES, plain and simple.
Judge Jeanine Piro, on Fox News stated outright, that had this occurred in the private sector, the federal government would have prosecuted the "private VA" using the RICO statues as an organized criminal enterprise. But we'll never even see criminal charges, as long as Barky, Holder, and the politically motivated, Chicagp THUG-ocracy and Just-Us department are in power.
