YIKES! We just got the third revision to Q1 GDP, and it was horrible. After an initial estimate showing a mere 0.1% gain in growth in the first quarter, the government now says the economy shrunk at a staggering 2.9% pace, making it the worst quarter Q1 2009, at the pit of the financial crisis.
So should you worry?

Nope, no reason to worry - just keep pumping your money into the stock market, but know that everything crashes about 9/13/15.
Get out before then.
Yes, I’m “setting dates”.
Amazing isn’t it?
If it weren't so scary. This, after the inflation articles yesterday? We're in trouble, and I don't care how it's spun by the midstream media. It's gonna get ugly.
You might be able to justify ONE, Count it, ONE bad quarter every ONCE in a WHILE...
This Admin has beeen Justifying, ONE AFTER ANOTHER bad economic report....
Things are being propped up by mere WORDS at this point...
Why that date?
BTW, I’ve gone on record since Obama’s re-election that we will not survive his presidency. I also penned this on the 20th:
This is like when Hitler would go on the radio during the last few months of the Second World War and he’d say that German troops were winning victory after victory. The citizens of Berlins were all asking themselves if that was true why then were they getting the hell bombed out of them every day. Obama is Hitler in his bunker mentality openly lying as the country is burning down.
Joe Weisenthal is an apologist for the Obama administration. He has consistently poo-pooed all negative economic news as either “Bushes Fault” or “Do Nothing Congress”. He plays well to the Low Information Voter.
BI is left wing drivel.......................
I’m a small construction business owner with my husband. I’ve been saying for a few months that I feel the economy slowing. We’re in FL, can’t blame the weather.
First CNN, now Yahoo News. Its absolutely amazing. Its become such an article of faith among MSM reporters that the economy is recovering under the Obama plan that any evidence to the contrary is dismissed out of hand. This could have been a 5% drop — it wouldn’t have mattered to these reporters.
It can be just the opposite: in a bad economy---as my son just proved---when you don't have good full time work, you work two part-time worse-paying jobs. Work hours RISE, but overall employment won't.
Second, how long are they gonna ride the "bad winter" horse? "The data is old?" The data is ALWAYS old. Did they ever use that excuse with Bush---"Oh, don't worry about these numbers. They're three months old." Utterly moronic.
Third, health care SPENDING should BOOST the economy, so if there was more Obamacare spending, economic activity should have increased.
I've heard murderers with better phoney stories than this.
Read the comments in the OP. Nobody’s buying it.
I think the only voters that buy this BS are the same ones that voted in Florida for Buchannon in 2000.
I've noticed much the same thing.
You are getting very sleepy...
Why so far away? You think the smoke and mirrors have another year before complete collapse?
Comments at Yahoo are (or rather were) uniformly mocking of this tripe. So now mysteriously comments won’t load...
Horray! Obama’s policies have resulted in an increase of our chocolate rations from 30 grams to 25 grams!
