“Let’s face it: I’ve been a thorn in leadership’s side,” says Arizona Republican Rep. Matt Salmon, sitting at his desk in the Rayburn House Office Building.
Earlier that day, Salmon had just been named by Speaker John Boehner to a special “working group” on the crisis at the southern U.S. border, where tens of thousands of unaccompanied children are streaming into the country with hopes that President Obama will grant them amnesty.
Salmon is the most conservative member of the new group, and his selection by Boehner is surprising, to say the least, given that the Arizonan has been a leading critic of House leadership.
“Probably nobody was more shocked than me, but I was pleasantly surprised,” Salmon says.
On the other side of the ledger, the group includes Florida Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, a passionate advocate for a comprehensive immigration bill, and Rep. John Carter (R-TX), who negotiated for years with liberal Democrats, including Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-CA), to craft an immigration bill that never saw the light of day....

Its all for show while he goes along with Obama endorsing more spending, taxes and debt in the budget.
If Boehner was serious he wouldn’t waste time on a “working group”, he would be calling on Obama to repel the invasion. The House could at least pass a Resolution calling for military defense of the border.
This surrender monkey has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Now, Flake-like reversals stain the Salmon record in Matt’s second “tour of duty” in the House. He and fellow Arizona Congressmen Paul Gosar and David Schweikert penned a mealy-mouthed missive to The Arizona Republic, chock full of poll tested bromides while keeping the door open to “Immigration Reform” —- more correctly known as amnesty.
And most recently, Salmon has become a McCain Machine Mouthpiece, calling for incumbent Attorney General Tom Horne to withdraw from the AG’s race this year, so that the hand-picked McMachine candidate — Mark Brnovich can advance, and in turn advance the establishment‘s open borders agenda.

Apart from writing the stupid oped Gosar is the most anti-amnesty of the AZ 4.
When we have an Administration that only enforces the laws that it likes and makes up new laws whenever it wants, why would any rational being think that new laws would make a difference? Laws are for the serfs. Obama and company will do whatever they want until removed from office.
Leaving it up to lawyers and judges to read simple English has caused major headaches in the (near) past; the 14th will NEVER be read ‘correctly’. Hell, the only time may vs. shall is bedrock solid is when it’s used AGAINST We the People.
As a (L), w/out the welfare state/A1S8, the rest would be moot anyway, but I guess it’s a good start....except they left out the identifying mark (tattoo??) so it’s easier to find and jail/shoot.

Matt was a lobbyist for the Chinese. So much so that he is supposedly fluent in Mandarin, learned in between stints as a Congressman.
He also threw a AZ Governor’s election to Napolitano in 1992. As a Mormon, McCain, and Jeff Flake collaborator, he is all for amnesty, despite anything he might be saying at the moment.
