Colorado’s largest detox network said Wednesday that the number of its patients busted for DUI while high on pot has nearly doubled, from 8 percent last year to 15 percent this year.

Really? Who’d of thunk it! And the proponents were saying legalizing the weed wouldn’t increase these behaviours....

When people are dragging their kids to potfests, it probably does increase the behaviors.

If someone can get intoxicated on a substance and then get behind the wheel, then that substance should be illegal.

Actually, I wouldn’t want to start a trend of passing restrictive laws based on, “If,” and, “Can.”

We already know where that’ll lead. Especially with the bums in power today.

There’s already enough of those laws.
Enforce the laws already in place.

“If someone can get intoxicated on a substance and then get behind the wheel, then that substance should be illegal.”

More people are getting ticketed for driving stoned now and some people see that as a bad thing.

According to this article, even after pot legalization 85% of DUIs involve something other than pot - doubtless alcohol in most cases. And yet somehow only pot, not alcohol, inspires Chicken Little hysterics.
