Exactly. At least MCDaniels has never given a black man the great “compliment” of calling him “clean and articulate”, as if that were the exception to the rule.

Now we are going to see who the real RINO’s are. They will be ones who now want to bolt the party after Cochran wins. See you later. (https://twitter.com/JohnFeehery/status/481629448765063169)

No wonder the GOP-E loves Obama, they are just like him.

They’re doubling down. They used to tolerate us, now they despise us, and they’re falling all over themselves to show us just how much.

To hell with the GOP. I don’t see how anyone can still rationally consider them the “lesser evil.”

I consider it very telling that the rats are rooting for Cochran.

Will even a single one of his new friends remember him in November. Nope, back to the Democrat party for them.

To hell with him. I am a conservative first, last, and in between, and only a Republican insofar as they were conservative. They’re not, therefore I’m not a Republican.

United States Congressman Alan Nunnelly (R) Ms defeated Incumbent Congressman Childers (D) Ms in 2010. The same Childers who will be running as a democrat for the US Senate seat now held by Thad Cochran.

Would you like to withdraw your rather silly comment?

Whoever is interviewing these dimwits needs to call them out on the automatic association between Democrat and black. Are all Dems black? Or maybe they’re just saying all Dems in MS are black.

Whatever, they’re trying to play the race card, stop it in its tracks!

It is predictable to hear what this AP article has to say about Mississippi politics. Thanks for giving us the view from the Left, koanhead, and welcome to FR.

Rush was laughing about this the other day. The GOP thinking its expanding its electorate with blacks by calling conservatives racists and promising them big government is comedy gold. This isn’t a case of appealing to them based on a conservative message.

This narrative being peddled to spin their behavior in that runoff is a complete lie. They scared these voters into going to polls telling them their right to vote would be taken away, etc. They weren’t reaching out to “appeal” to them - they were race baiting and lying to these people to scare them to the polls.

Broadening the base of the party...they were attempting to do no such thing. They were Democrats, not Republicans - what they did was racist, and defamatory.

I don’t have any problem with a republican reaching out to blacks or any other traditional democrat voters to promote conservative ideals but this was win at any cost pandering.

No, this was casting false accusations of "RACIST!!!" at your Republican primary opponent. The Democrat needs to win this one. The RNC needs to pull back a bloody stump for this bit of sabotage.

So the GOPe send out flyers in black precincts calling McDaniel a racist who wants to take away their votes. McDaniel complains and he's the racist?

OK, now I'm mad.

As am I. The GOPe needs to pull back a bloody stump for that stunt. If I lived in Mississippi I would vote for the Democrat. As it is, I think i'll just have to send him some money to beat Cochran.

I encourage those of you who do live in Mississippi to punish this traitor in a manner befitting what he has done.

so a Repub advocating for more welfare, big govt to appeal to black Dems is a good thing???

these establishment types have confirmed they are not Conservatives and don’t endorse the GOP platform.

the message is elect Repub house, senate and president and we’ll continue Obama’s agenda..
