MSNBC’s Chris Hayes doesn’t think much of America’s military, and said so, back on Memorial Day in 2012. But it seems he has a whole different opinion of the militant ISIS jihadis marauding through Iraq, killing everyone and everything in sight.

While discussing the group’s worldwide recruiting effort, he called it a “heroic romantic struggle.”

So, even though Hayes offered an apology for dissing U.S. veterans, he really meant it when he said he felt uncomfortable calling our fallen military “heroes.”

Apparently, he also meant it when he called ISIS’ jihad in Iraq a “heroic romantic struggle.”
