WASHINGTON — A key GOP lawmakers said Thursday that he’s in no hurry to restore Justice Department scrutiny to Texas and other states under the Voting Rights Act.

A year ago, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a key part of that landmark civil rights law — the formula that identified nine states and some smaller jurisdictions with such an egregious history of violating the rights of voters that they would have to get federal permission before moving a polling site, shifting district boundaries or making any other election-related change.

“There is a great deal of dispute in many quarters as to how this should be addressed,” House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., told reporters over breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor.

A former GOP chairman of that panel, Rep. James Sensenbrenner of Wisconsin, has expressed frustration at the refusal by House GOP leaders to even hold a hearing on a bill he’s proposed to create a new formula...

The Democrats will get about 10-20 million new Democrat voters by November. Game over.

We don’t need any more action on the Voting Rights Act. This is America, and if blacks want to vote for a Democrat they can do so openly and freely. Then, if they want to turn around and vote for a Republican, well by golly, they can do that too!

The Democrats will get about 10-20 million new Democrat voters by November. Game over.

The MARXIST running the country now plans on issuing ASYLUM to millions of ILLEGAL AIENS next month. Schumkie and his cohorts will be on the court house steps 60 seconds after Zero holds his presser regarding the asylum, and he will be demanding the courts turn these hoards of illegal millions into citizens before the Nov 2014 elections. The TEA party is a bigger enemy of the RAT party than all of the middle east combined.

I know it is absurd but do you see anyone challenging the MARXIST IN CHIEF? SCOTUS gives him a wrist slap yesterday and I am betting he totally ignores it. Have those illegally placed NLRB Board Members left their post yet? No and they never will since the Congress confirmed them later - they will continue handing down decisions supporting the Marxist in Chief and it will be left up to companies that are aggrieved to spend millions in more law suits.

Meanwhile have you read this excellent Dr. Steven Camarota study of the growth of immigrants in America on the job market?......

All Employment Growth Since 2000 Went to Immigrants

Yep, especially this oversight by DOJ of only a few states because of discrimination over half a century ago, it’s antiquated.
