Over seven frenetic days, Bill Clinton addressed corporate executives....His pay: $1.4 million.

...Bill Clinton has been paid $104.9 million for 542 speeches around the world....the majority of his speaking income, $56.3 million, came from foreign speeches, many of them in China, Japan, Canada and the United Kingdom, the Post review found....

The financial industry has been Clinton’s most frequent sponsor....Hillary Clinton has followed her husband and a roster of recent presidents and secretaries of state in this profitable line of work...executives familiar with the engagements said her standard fee is $200,000 and up, and that she has been in higher demand than her husband.

Many of these “speeches” were paid for by Universities (public and private).

Keep that in mind when you send your kid off to those gold-plated re-education camps.

Is there anyone who really thinks those foreign interests are paying that kind of money just to hear Bubba talk?

Why isn’t anyone challenging the “dead broke” statement when they left the WH — never mind AFTER they left the White House.

How and why did the become “broke”, when the president’s salary is something like $250K/year, with NO expenses?!

After 8 years, they should have had $2 Million when they left the WH.

Poor Little Rich Liberals
http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/dgreenfield/poor-little-rich-liberals-2/

No group has been hit harder by the Obama economy than America’s liberals. From Marin County, where bundlers have had to struggle to scrape together a few ten grand bills to attend Obama fundraisers, to Washington D.C., whose bedroom communities now have seven of the ten highest household incomes in the country, poverty is hitting poor rich little liberals hard.

In 2006, Alaska had the highest household income. But voters chose Obama over Palin and these days it’s Maryland because six-figure government consultants on sustainable development and diversity need McMansions to go home to after a long day of team building exercises.

Despite numbers like these, liberals are barely making ends meet. Some like Hillary Clinton are “dead broke”. Forget about a dollar not buying what it used to. Not even a hundred million dollars does. And there’s poor Joe Biden who claimed not to have a savings account or any stocks and bonds. And he doesn’t. He has five savings accounts and eleven investment funds.

But wealth is relative. Despite earning $100 million, Hillary Clinton claims that she isn’t “truly well off”. And if a woman with a colonial mansion for every occasion is, in the words of her adviser, still just “trying to earn a living”, the economy must really be bad.

With income inequality such a hot topic, the Democratic Party’s presidential frontrunners are working hard at pretending to be poor.

Remember, their “hard work” is the peddling of influence, influence used to dispense your hard-earned tax dollars to cronies instead of to meritorious use.

Maybe... one of Hillary's explanatory comments was that unlike the truly rich, they paid taxes at "ordinary rates."

Can you believe that s**t? They are selling influence. So is Joe Biden. So is Obama. Do you think that people pay 32K a plate to listen to Barack dispense wisdom? No, the most valuable thing is that they get on that guest contributor list, which screening staff has on a computer and checks when favors are asked. Same thing for the Clintons.

Makes my blood boil.

wonder if this applies to Clinton:

I always say to people, “No one earns $100 million. You steal $100 million.” People earn $10 an hour. People earn $40,000 a year. “Earn” means work. Okay? It doesn’t mean steal, which with these vast amounts of money, of course you steal them.- Fran Lebowitz

I don't know if the Clintons remind me more of the Joads or the family in Tobacco Road.

When are celebrities going to get together to do “ClintonAid” and raise a few million dollars to get them through another couple weeks?
