"The Billings Gazette," a Montana newspaper that endorsed President Obama over John McCain in 2008 (but went with Romney in 2012) admitted Friday that they were wrong -- Obama is in fact worse than his predecessor, George W. Bush. Apparently, the potential collapse of Iraq (and the disastrous worldwide consequences sure to follow) was the last straw.
"[W]e were wrong," the editorial page notes,"We said things couldn't get much worse after the sub par presidency of George W. Bush. But, President Barack Obama's administration has us yearning for the good ol' days when we were at least winning battles in Iraq."
"Billings Gazzette" wrote about Obama in its 2008 presidential endorsement:
At this extremely challenging time, America needs a uniter, not a divider. In this economic turmoil, America needs a thoughtful, cool-headed optimist who envisions a bright future for all citizens. After several years in which worldwide respect for America has been diminished, our great nation needs a new leader who can inspire confidence at home and abroad.
Obama is that leader. As Gen. Colin Powell said last week, Obama is the president America needs now "because of his ability to inspire, because of the inclusive nature of his campaign, because he is reaching out all across America, because of who he is and his rhetorical abilities. ... He has both style and substance."
In their reversal today, the "Billings Gazette" editorial board does not stop with Iraq. The laundry list of their disappointments is wide and deep: Obama's un-American surveillance state, the Bowe Bergdahl swap, the mishandling of the VA, the "boondoggle" of ObamaCare, and the administration's many sins against the media.
Without even getting to the economy, the editors sum it up with, "[T]aken in completely, these demonstrate a disturbing trend of incompetence and failure."

Aint that the truth? Back in 2008 I was amazed at some obama supporters whose work and educational resumes completely outshine mine. Yet I could see right through obama and they couldnt.
There was a good episode where Hogan convinced Klink the war was over, and it turned out Sgt. Schultz owned a toy factory, and Klink hoped to get hired by him.
The problem is, they know their race card boy’s days are numbered. 2016 will be here before you know it. They’ve got to start pimping for Slick Willie’s wife now.
Yeah, and ole Colon-noskipee endorsed and kissed Obama’s tan butt.
Least ye forget...
After listening to a critique of the nearly nine hundred billion dollars stimulus package from Republican Congressional leaders, along with some helpful suggestions on how to fix it, President Barack Obama had a two word answer.
“I won,” President Obama said, indicating why the Republicans were not going to have any significant input into the bill. President Barack Obama was echoing sentiments by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who had explained by the House Democratic leadership version of the stimulus bill was going to pass with or without Republicans.
The reaction that comes to mind is, “It’s like that, huh?”
Bipartisian outreach was only lip service to the dumb masses.
Yeah, six years too late.
Way too late.
Way too little.
Now, if you would see that in the Missoulian or the Montana Standard, then you'd have some big news! Missoula/Missoula County (Missoulian) and Butte/Silver Bow County and Anaconda/Deer Lodge County (Montana Standard) are the most liberal/progressive/democrat counties in the state of Montana. I made my escape many, many years ago!
Time for the Masters of the Lie to “play unbiased”, so they can try to claw back some credibility before their next round of leftist lies and deceptions.
President Buckwheat is a racist who hates white people.
Somebody prove me wrong.
Obama is no dummy....much smarter than Bush....he said...We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America. Barack Obama, October 30, 2008” he wasn’t talking through his hat and he skillfully slithered his way to re-election...his work is now finished and the cat is out of the bag.... impeachment only removes the tumor...the disease is incurable...a revolutionary society wisely crafted that took 260 years to construct ...this man demolished in five short years... America is more divided now than before the civil war..besieged on multiple fronts and confronted by problems with no apparent solution....the wizard of Oz in real time...
I live in Billings,I saw the article. Trust me, the only reason they are posting this is because they see the collapse, they will be the first to endorse the next Democrat for president regardless if it was a clone of Obama. The Billings Gazette is just below the Missoula papers as far as partisian reporting goes.
Correctamundo.
I want Obama to fail...........Rush Limbaugh, 2008
Well, They got part of it right. But they left off the IRS scandal. Honestly, there are so many more that I can’t even remember which ones they cited above.

BTTT!
>>The Obungler is worse than Jimmy Carter, and he was REALLY bad.
My tagline here for about 9 months prior to the 2008 election:
“Obama: Carter’s only chance to avoid going down in history as the worst U.S. president ever.”
I hate being so right.
A hard core progressive will,
after they finally swallow their pride or whatever was in their mouths at the time,
come to realize that Obama has serious faults and performance issues,
but eventually their programmed brains will conclude that it was George Bush who actually caused Obama to be so bad.
Obama is worse than anyone else who came into the picture during his runs - yes; even McPain and Romney.
Idiots. It took me only 15 minutes of reading to figure out Obama in Feb 2008 to know who he was.
